Lets try this for the charging problem. The same helped for the (Camera app)Video recording problem. I did this yesterday and today my phone charged normally?
Settings> Apps and notifications> Show all apps> Device Health Services > Options (3 dots top right)> Uninstall update
After updating to Android 11, I was am also facing the same charging issue. Immediately after identifying the same I went to the nearby Nokia customer care, and they were saying that it's common for multiple Nokia models running under Android 11. They were mentioning that a fix may be available in upcoming update and its availability shall be based on the company policy.
I was shocked to hear that they mentioned the term company policy. The customer has every right to have a phone with no bugs. And they are indirectly mentioning that this is based on the company policy...!! So disappointing.
I had even pointed out some bugs in Android 10 in which smartphone sensors (like proximity, and camera) were sometimes not working. And this was done almost a year from now that too multiple times.
Each time they've said me that it has been reported and sent to team, but not a single software fix was provided addressing that.
That's the reason I have said, "Nokia is the most ignorant company" I have witnessed.
Uninstalling the update for the Device Health Services app also worked for me in solving charging issues on a Nokia 6.2. I add the following comments.
Installed version of app was 1.22.xxxxxx. After uninstalling it was 1.21.xxxxxx. Makes sense.
Immediately after uninstalling the app Google Play offered up an update to the app - version 1.22. If your Play settings allow automatic app updates this needs to be changed to not allow auto updates. Otherwise, 1.22 will be re-installed in short order.
A few hours after uninstalling I noticed the 1.21 version of the app was now completely GONE from my phone. I did not remove it and I did not think that it was possible to remove it. I surmise version 1.21 of the app is not compatible with A11 and the system just dumped it and offered me the 1.22 update.
I have not noticed any ill affects from not having the app and hey, my phone charges per normal now.
Do any Nokia officials read these posts? Does anyone answer? Does anyone care that their customers are confused and angry? Does anyone work at HMDGlobal? 🤔

Agreed. Battery life has certainly been improved.
But Nokia has made life worse by introducing some inevitable bugs..

We can see the results within a day?

Hello , stay with Android 10 in Nokia 7.2 . Android 11 update have many bugs.
Bro, they might be not..

I've just done this, as usual after a restart it charges, I'll see if it charges later on & post an update.
I've tried this, it does not work, within hours I still had the same not being able to charge issue.
Only the restart of the phone temporarily fixes this issue & then the fault reoccurs .
Did anyone else already successfully try to roll back to A10 with this method?
After updating to android 11 my nokia 7.2 facing issue with ringtone.
Ringtone is not coming for incoming calls.
Please do help to resolve this issue.
The same problem on my 7.2. Hope it will be fixed soon...
Hello! Please find temporary workaround to fix charging and camera problems:
1. For charging issue:
Settings> Apps and notifications> Show all apps> Device Health Services> Options (3 dots top right)> Uninstall update
2. For camera issue:
Settings> Apps and notifications> Show all apps> Camera> Options (3 dots top right)> Uninstall update
Then restart the phone.
Its works for me completely and I hope the same for you as well ☺️
And we are still waiting for an update from the previous generation of Android that has no bugs!
Does anyone hear our voice ???
Also seeing the "Plugged in, cannot charge" message every day after the upgrade. Pleas do something!

My Nokia 7.2 just updated security for October , but still on android 10, is this mean they stop andorid 11 untill fix bugs??
I am from Egypt
Probably. The Android 11 update has been pulled off. It's not available anymore for 6.2. Hopefully they're giving the bugs.
Looks like wave 1 users were used as beta testers! 😂
When will the android 11 version be available for us in Nigeria for download and update?
If someone is feeling adventurous, here's a way to downgrade to Android 10:

I just did it for my unfortunate Nokia 7.2, and now have Android 10 running as usual.
The instruction is not perfect, but with little experimentation I got it working alright.
Nokia 7.2 just updated security for October .
Nepal
For Poland too
Netherlands too, and VoWiFi now suddenly works with Android Q (10).
Previously this wasn't supported by the 7.2 – it already was by the mobile network I'm on.
The other Nokias that already supported this feature were:
- Nokia 5.3 Dual-SIM (TA-1234)
- Nokia 5.4 4G Dual-SIM (TA-1337)
- Nokia 8.3 5G Dual-SIM (TA-1243)
- Nokia X10 5G Dual-SIM (TA-1332)
- Nokia X20 5G Dual-SIM (TA-1341)
One thing about the recent October update is that my Nokia 7.2 is working much better. Fewer bugs and no problem with loading wallpaper.
So 15 months to release it and it's super buggy. Nice.

We didn't see any updates for Nigeria
