HMD and upgrades? Haha! They can't even manage to update the 7.2 with Android 11! Here in Germany there is no Android 11 for the 7.2 and in the countries where the 7.2 got Android 11, the list of bugs is long - including the bug that you can only charge the 7.2 when it is switched off! HMD wants to sell you a new device every month so that you are on the latest security patch level. The 8.1 is at October 2021 when it should still be getting updates until December 2021!
The only sensible thing to do is not to buy devices from HMD/Nokia. It's better for health, device safety, the environment and your wallet. HMD/Nokia cheats and lies without shame!
I have been using a Pixel 5 since the beginning of 2021 without any problems and the person who previously had the 8.1 now has a Pixel 6!
How come Android seems to change versions so quickly
Any ideas when the Android 12 is going to be rolled out for the XR20? I'm in United States and I still haven't received the update yet.
A12 has not been released for this device yet anywhere. Not sure anyone really knows.
I'm getting more recent security updates on my LG V60 than I am from Nokia.
And LG shut down manufacturing phones. That should tell you how bad Nokia is at keeping their phones updated. I'll never own another Nokia product.
That is not a valid, LG patching their old phones has nothing to do with Nokia. Nokia is always slow when they are about to release a new build probably a12 so just be patient. Big difference between patching and a new os version. Let it come slow and not be full of bugs than rush it
