As Nokia claims that they provide stock android software with AndroidOne experience which means this will include all the features added by Google but unfortunately, this has proven a false statement by Nokia because they are adding and removing features on their will. This is really upsetting that we are paying much amount on phones that are failing to provide all features as included in upgrades.
Google included "Customized Fonts, Icon Shapes and Theme Colors" in their Android 11 but unfortunately I saw no bigger change instead of Music Player adjustment in Notification Bar on Nokia phones.
Google has included "Themed Icons, Game Preferences, Game Mode" and many more, but Nokia is still starving towards these features.
I am an unofficial brand ambassador of Nokia in my social circle and I have convinced many friends to by Nokia phones, but now I got confused whether my support towards Nokia is right or wrong.

As usual, a lot of Google stuff these days is exclusive to their Pixel phones or else under license with their selected OEM partners. Google has stooped adding a lot of new stuff to stock Android.
As for hmd, they are completely blank about adding features and unique points to their OS. All they do is take the AOSP, slap Google apps and some other stuff that is required under Android One licensing and that's it.
And don't forget the addition of inaction by HMD regarding updates!
Can we take a moment to realize that Nokia is probably the only company that went the stock android route? Even better , Android 12?? For months , I had to deal with a lot of bugs with my Pixel 6 and the only reason I had it was the pure android experience. Sure, the hardware in fhe X20 is underwhelming, but the software experience is beyond amazing. The crucial issue here is whether Nokia will continue to update the software in a timely fashion. Judging from my previous experience with the Nokia 9, I really hope they prove me wrong.
