I have Nokia 3.2 (2gb/16gb) varient and now it is saying storage space running out'. I have bought a SanDisk 16gb memory card and run it as internal storage. But it is not running smooth. I can't download even a photo from WhatsApp đŸ¥º. Please friends, respond if you are facing the same issue. And if any solution also.

Nokia 3.2 has problem where SD card converting as Internal Shared will take 40% of the SD Card memory, which again a problem for you to store media files.

It's better to remove the SD card as internal shared and keep it as external/portable storage so that media files can be stored in SD card.

Since you're mentioning WhatsApp, Whatsapp currently supports storing media files in internal storage under Settings>Storage>Files>Android>Media>com.whatsapp

You can copy the existing media files to SD card manually and then delete those files so that more space can be provided for new media files.

Have you try to set sd card as internal storage option? A MR update is required to solve this messđŸ¥º. Also I cant even download other heavy apps . My Nokia 1 phone has no such big problem while using sd card as internal storage option.

Let me tell you that , This Problem has been there since Android 9 Pie, where upon formatting my 16GB SD card as internal, took nearly 50% of SD card storage.Still I do fear about this issue.

But Since I'm using 3GB|32GB variant i haven't spoiled my SD card and kept it as Portable

Regarding Nokia 1, Those devices are stock android based and it actually allows to increase the storage to required amount, install apps on SD card(it runs slower) but Android One is something different, it allows but takes lot of space from Memory Card.

I do have Nokia 2 ,same thing applies ,Formatting SD card as internal helps me to enjoy the additional storage without any hassle.

    Ok bro, (i am using 2gb/16gb Nokia 3.2 )

I think the processor is not supporting the function. Snapdragon 429 is a much older processor then.

I cannot believe just how low Nokia fell. Its a shame really. i fear that Nokia has deliberately released an update rendering the phones unusable. Sheer frustration for anyone holding this phone in their hand.

I have a few questions for Nokia.

    1. Who in their right state of mind would release a phone with an internal storage of 16GB where the OS takes up straight 11GB. Seriously that engineer or designer needs to get their head checked.
    2. Further to add insult to injury, make the SD card unusable as internal storage by releasing an glitched Andriod 11 update that wont even allow a simple picture to be downloaded on the phone if the SD card is set as internal storage.

I believe the true focus of Nokia here was to make people throw away their preowned phones and get a new one, the same trick used by Apple (maybe they are learning from the best) but i got this phone just recently and to me honestly its nothing more than paper weight.

There is no morality left in the Nokia management. They refuse to even post a comment about their scam's of late like this.
