    Hi Ikenna, I did retry everything just now and waited for 3 minutes before taurning Off Airplain Mode but still the same, it removes Emergency Mode but still dose not Connect VoWIFI or VoLTE so I dont get SMS or Calls when Im inside my room where Reception is Really Bad but elsewhere where reception is OK, Device works as intended

    Maybe we get different problems as again I followed steps as you described

    I can't make a call or message after the last security update in my mobile, please bring a solution as soon as possible. Nokia 2.4 is working nice but everything is useless without calls and messages.

    Yes. A**oles. If they are sincere enough to deliver an update then who asked them to urge this fast to deliver some sh*t on our faces. Now customer care simply says reset network, long press volume up + power for 20 seconds to hear 3 vibration, reset the phone and all such craps. Nothing worked.

    @Mr Ghosh It is unlikely for them to follow a timeline of 7 days to fix a problematic update. I'd easily say that it will take more than a month. But in case they do fix it timely, then they'll earn a bit of respect in my eyes. As of now, I have stopped hoping of faster fixes from their side.

    @singhnsk I wish you are wrong but I know that your thought is likely to become true. And they're avoiding to state the time period through e-mail.

    @Sarah G don't reset or listen to their nonsense solutions. It won't help. Even the care centre is unable to help in such situation.

    Just start writing at their social media sites and email. Flood them with our grievances.

    The only solution that is working for now is after turning off the device, remove all the sim cards and turn it back on again.

    They advise me to do this:

    Go to Settings->Security->Advanced > SIM card lock->Lock SIM card -> OFF > Reboot the device and then you can turn the SIM card lock back on.

    ===> But the problem not solved because emergency callback is there.. also if i reboot my smartphone! :(

    I lost volte support after Feb security update :(

    An update from Nokia or Google will fix everything.

    Meantime, i will send an email also to Google about their last security update and after that the emergency callback mode in Nokia smartphones.

    Short version of workaround...

    Set:

    Settings->Security->SIM card Lock->Lock SIM card

    to OFF

    Then reboot phone.

    just use lock phone

    Data / Wifi enabled / disabled - working

    this sucks as I heavily rely on VoLTE and VoWIFI, reception is bad where I am located and prior to the update my phone was working flawlessly

    Has anyone here have experience in rooting the phone or flashing custom ROMS for our Nokia 2.4? I guess at this point that is the only option, I scoured the internet with tutorials but none seems to work

    This is my last message from this smartphone...

    I swear that i will cut my hands if i buy again a smartphone from this company after this situation!

    I bought a new smartphone with well known support!

    This smartphone goes to garbage as I can't do nothing with this emergency callback mode serious problem!

    This serious issue is not our fault and the company not understand that the problem came from their Update!

    Where is their support??

    I don't see here (in their official website) any Support message from the company!

    Sorry but I am very disappointed from this situation!

    I hope my message note blocked!

    het is ballen dat de android alles in de war gooit en je kan er verder niets tegen doen ja je sim kaart blokkeren en dan kan je weer wat doen maar bellen via wiffi dat gaat dan weer niet dat is een verschrikking want de kosten lopen daar door wel op door deze fout van modus noodopropen en de teller die doet ook niets als het klaar is en het blijft het zelfde is er nieuwe sofware ondertussen!

    Ik weet hoe onaangenaam het probleem is en ik zal u graag helpen.
    Om u te verduidelijken dat updates rechtstreeks van systeemontwikkelaars naar de telefoon komen en dat we geen toegang hebben om apparaten en problemen op afstand op te lossen.
    Daarom hebben we stappen gegeven om te proberen en te controleren of het probleem zich blijft voordoen.
    Kun je het apparaat ook proberen in de veilige modus die hieronder is bijgevoegd en een screenshot van het probleem maken?
    
    Om de veilige modus te bereiken:
    - U moet eerst de aan/uit-knop 1-2 seconden ingedrukt houden. Wanneer u een aantal opties ziet, zoals uitschakelen, opnieuw opstarten, enz., laat u de aan/uit-knop los.
    - Houd de uitschakeloptie (die op het scherm wordt weergegeven) ingedrukt zonder deze los te laten totdat u een bericht over de veilige modus ziet
    - Wanneer dat bericht verschijnt, drukt u op Ja of OK, en de telefoon zal opnieuw opstarten om de veilige modus te bereiken
    Het apparaat zal opnieuw opstarten in de veilige modus. Een inscriptie hierover verschijnt linksonder in het scherm.
    Om terug te keren naar de normale modus, hoeft u alleen maar het apparaat opnieuw op te starten.
    
    
    Opmerking ; Tijdens of na de veilige modus gaan er geen bestanden of gegevens verloren.
    
    Ik zal wachten op uw antwoord.

    When is the update that fixes the problem scheduled anyone know ? Does Nokia customer service contacted anyone to share information on a date to expect? I contacted a week ago Nokia customer service and they advised me to check out this blog for info and that I have to wait... For how long , it's been a week already and still no update.....We need our phones to work properly .

    Neither will it happen Soon,,,

    Dear Nokia cooperation whatever...what if we switch to other companies like Samsung , Huawei, etc ...will we be wrong

    Hiii,

    An hour before I received March,22 Security Patch update. It's working fine as of now with sim locks on. Jio also seems working.
