April update has been launched in several countries. Meanwhile in the Netherlands I still have not received either March or April. I'm still on Android 11, that is December update. There is a chance that April update failed to repair the phone, so Android 12 could get further delayed. Nokia still has to process the feedback from the April update and then they take a go/no go decision.

Unfortunately they do not fullfil promises about updates similar to Nokia 9 PV. But this is early begining od XR20...

9 PV still had security updates on time. The problem isn't that there is no Android 12 update, the problem is that it is botched, so a no go decision has been taken.

Anyway, in June there will be six months without updates, so if this happens I will RMA the phone, so that HMD installs the update for me.

I noticed that Nokia X20 updates most often come, even the Android 13 beta version is already there. Although the hardware of the X20 and XR20 is about the same. Why is this attitude to the XR20 unclear?

I think they have different hardware. The same is procesor only.

It seems that people have got totally frustrated, no one is asking anymore, because nobody answer us, is that what do you want for your customers Nokia? 101 of consumer to corporate loyalty is by being transparent to them, talk to them even with bad news, but ignoring us is just like telling to throw your products away.

I think the most of XR20 users (like me) were 9PV users. We have been left by HMD again so we don't care cuz this is regular situation.

We bought 9PV but 8 series was prioritized.

We bought XR20 but X20 is prioritized.

Here we go again ;)

My big mistake was to buy a SKU EEA phone. Since for the vanilla SKU WW I can install the patches myself.

Greetings! I've noticed a few bugs since Android 12 and when I reported some to CS chat, I was told to wait for an update. The last update had not helped. Could you move these along?

Battery manager problems:

Have you tried to flash yours manually with android 12?

People say there are 3 different firmware versions for different regions. The person tried to flash with another region and through ADB and the SD-Card method. The result is not stitched (stops at 47%). If unsuccessful, it is loaded into the standard firmware.

I have updated XR20 today in Poland.

There is instructions:

1. Install VPN (I used seed4me VPN and choose till&auto connect with Germany)

2. Turn off XR20 and remove SIM card(s)

3. Turn on XR20, turn off Wi-FI, turn off Bluetooth, turn off location.

4. Go to to apps&notifications and clear cache and the data of the following apps:

                - Google App;

                - Google Framework;

                - Google Play Serives;

                - Location Services.

5. Turn off XR20. Wait about 5 minutes. Turn on XR20.

6. Turn on Wi-Fi and establish/check VPN connection with Germany.

7. Go to update and do the update.

8. Enjoy the fun.

Nope, it doesn't work. My phone is defective. I will RMA it. I even tried the trick after factory reset. No luck.
