I have a Nokia G21 and nokia does not meet the mobile phone requirements as advertised on their website regarding operating system updates and security patches. They take a long time to apply the security patches and also do not include the update to android 12 as it comments on its website. Other lower-end Nokia phones, yes, when you buy a mobile phone to update the operating system, it's like winning the lottery. Better to buy other phones that are more up to date with updates and operating systems. As for the hardware, it meets the expectations.

So by this theory Nokia Devices (Android Phones and Tablets) with Unisoc Chipset will NOT receive Android 12. I'm so so glad that I chosed G20 over G21. My G20 received in July android 12 and today at 11:00am August Security Patch (2022-08). Yeah that now make a lot of sense why HMD is so late with security and MR and Android 12 upgrades for those devices.

Well i told in my Others Postings about the Problems with Updates and Support so i think we see the Same hmd/Nokia **** with G21 and other Models Like in years before and following.selling **** and Profit the Rules of them. The big mouth of Nokia/hmd. There ist no way to Trust them Change youre device and never Trust them again.

Wrong information, Nokia G11 plus with the same Unisoc processor was released with A12.

It's just a matter of time, Nokia G21 will surely get A12.

Well first of all this is not official information, but rather a theory, having in mind how slow HMD is with releasing updates for its devices. I assuming that Android 12 on G21 will arrive sometime before Christmas or New year.

Well If you See starting the Smartphones Like G21 and Others the promises and big mouth of hmd/Nokia tells us its only the Standard of Lies and her system to sell there Bad Produkts Hard@Software. So the only thing you need is the true reality and facts.

What a waiting guys. When will the new update rolls out. Nokia is going back in software also. Hardware it is a great fall. Now on software also like that. In this Android 13 time we still waiting for Android 12. And if get it, lot of bugs will be there. Nokia never back again I think.

As per the above-mentioned article from Piunikaweb.com:

In May 19 2022, both G10 & G20 have got Android 12 update on the global level.

In May 31 NOKIA T10 alongwith G11 & G21 were supported running Android 12.

In India following models with respect to the date for Android 12 in 2022

July 6 - Nokia G10

August 9- Nokia 5.4

August 10- Nokia 3.4

In September 22 2022, a reader of piunikaweb.com confirmed that Nokia 3.4 is getting Android 12 update. When you read the article throughout, you will find an approximate time variance between when a device gets spotted running Android 12 and when that same model gets Android 12 officially.

I do not think Nokia G21 is still far away to get Android 12.

Users from India having Nokia G21 should get in the mid October tentatively only if the roll out pattern is followed.

On 22nd January 2022, Nokia G10 was spotted with Android 12.

Then on July 6 2022, in India it was confirmed that Nokia G10 was then getting Android 12 update as shown on above screenshot.

Compare both the screenshots.

It can be assumed the timeline. The update is surely being pushed to many devices but with 'Wave-wise'. In fact My device only has July security update, no more update beyond it has been recieved yet.

Now look at the following screenshot for Nokia G21.

On 31st May 2022 Android 12 was spotted in Nokia T10, Nokia G11 and finally Nokia G21.

We may expect for us as G21 users will get somehow either in first phase of October or in mid.

From few moments I have been noticing with some models like NOKIA XR20 in Nokia Community. Also with other models users have been complaining. If I am not wrong this is the first model to get Android 12 update. After this unit gets the first Android 12 build. Many users have complaint that the update has few major downsides after installing the update and have been waiting for the next update for fix. I'm sure the bugs will be fixed. It is to be noted that the same issue or other may arise if rolled out to models like G21, G11, G10 and so on. So it is better to wait for a stable build.

What are your opinion guys? Shouldn't we wait for a suitable build? Because we don't want a buggier build for which we have been waiting for such a long for as a major update for our lovely devices.

Na na I am not from hmd or Nokia. I have posted that comment as of gratitude towards the people who have joined in the community an also for Nokia that has created a platform for us to share our experiences and share the feedbacks, but only a few companies makes community like this one. After all yes Nokia is reading the comments. I do not care much if Nokia reads specially one of my comment, particularly that one mentioned by you. As from the screenshot shared below we may notice that the company actively watches the comments and gathering as feedback although not necessarily will comment on it. I must say thanks to everyone who has joined the community here so far. Because only for them who have joined we can gather informations about what is really happening with us who have Nokia mobile devices. What are our experiences so far? I am totally new to here. Only a few days have spent.
