Don't know why it's taking so long for HMD bringing Android 12 when all other Chinese companies have already released Android 13 including Oppo. The promise of 3 years security and 2 years OS upgrades seems just a cheap marketing strategy to attract more customers. If Android 12 is taking over a year, imagine Android 13 will be released somewhere in 2027. I'm quitting Nokia, and will never return. Really pathetic company. Now I know why Nokia falls, and it should be.

I think we will get new a12 next year it's not possible some Nokia G21 onwers got another update after a12 and here we are stuck on a11

Are you kidding Usman? NEXT YEAR? When every other company is deploying A13, Nokia is still stuck at A11. The only reason I bought G21 when so many options were available is to experience "pure" Android and the promise of 2 years of OS upgrades but this is all lies. And the worst thing is: here in the country, Nokia literally doesn't have ANY market value and I cannot resale my mobile even at 10 PKR. This is pathetic. A very unwise decision to invest my hard-earned money in such a lousy company.

That is not true! Nokia has a value and it has a history that in the mobile industry..we know that they are struggling to keep up with other competitors in the past years but they are coming back slowly and making sure that when it happens they have their own unique branding..Other mobile company now are just copycats of what Nokia started. Regarding the updates for Android 12 it will come soon, they're just a bit of delay on that but Nokia keep their promises..

I myself bought it for same reason to have pure stock android without any bloatware. But due to unisonic processor and several other Nokia phones android rollouts it's a little late but after android 12 we will get android 13 quicker than the current situation.

Yes, you're right. But I was talking specifically about the Pakistani market. Currently, Nokia doesn't have resale value/brand value here. I hope it will change over time.

Maybe the UNISOC is the main culprit. I'm still hoping we'll get A12 soon (maybe at the end of November 2022, who knows) and maybe A13 way quicker than A12.

As per shown the users who have received Android 11 MonthlySecurity update 00WW 1 570 SP01, THEY WILL RECIEVE THE NEXT MONTHLY SECURITY UPDATE 00WW 1 570 SP 02 OTHERWISE WE WILL RECEIVE DIRECTLY ANDROID 12 BUILD 00WW_2_420_SP01 BUILD WITH THE LATEST SECURITY UPDATE.

THIS IS WHAT I CAN UNDERSTAND RIGHT NOW.

When the update is coming I'm tired of checking for updates every hour. Nokia please provide A12 asap.

Guys I've an extra Nokia g21. Whenever the A12 come out. I will update it to check if there are any bugs that can cause severe battery drain I'll let you guys know 🙂

Bro I'm from Pakistan and I haven't received the update yet.

Android 13 is still in beta which means it's not too late for Android 12 .Nokia keeps their promises don't worry we will receive android 12 soon.

The animation of Android 12 on G21 was struggling for a second for few instances. But whenever I use the phone over and over the experience is getting better. No more the lags for a second when I do some functions.

About the battery. It's normal. Yes. Just as on Android 11 and I agree with @Pratheesh P S on his comment on discussion over battery life experiences after the Android 12 upgrade. There might not be a Big change in the battery life. But the for thing for my side is that the battery is functioning and capacity seems to be same as itv has been on Android 11.
