I've already told you. There's no plan for Nokia to deploy updates in Pakistan. The OS and security updates are for selected markets/countries only.

Seriously! Do you still believe that Nokia will distribute OS upgrades here? FYI: the first Android 12 update was released on Oct 22 for the so-called "approved" market. Now it has been 4 months. Where are the "2x more security updates than the competition and 2x OS upgrades"? Since I purchase G21, I haven't received any updates, either security or OS.

And also FYI: in Pakistan, the Chinese, "third-class" companies like Oppo etc. have provided OS upgrades even on their midrange-level phones. Samsung also deploys the Android 13 update to its entry-level (and totally **** phone) Galaxy A13 on the first week of January 2023. Nokia is indeed the shittiest company, even below Infinix.

Anyways, I've talked to the licensee of Nokia here (Techno Pack) and they said that Nokia has already halted its operations here in the country and no support (either OS or warranty) is in the plan and it'll not further launch any devices. That "OS updates and Support promise" is for developed markets/countries in which Nokia has a high market share.

I am in Australia and starting to get annoyed that no updates have been issued since September 2022. There has been no android update either.

You are 100 percent correct. Today is 1st February 2023 and the OS upgrade is nowhere to be seen. All other companies have already provided Android 13 to their devices and we're still stuck at 11. These "promises" of OS/security upgrades are only cheap and lousy marketing tactics. Nokia is the most fraudulent company I've ever experienced with practically no support - after contacting, they only send robotic, copy-paste answers. Purchasing G21 was my biggest mistake and now I can't resale it because, in my country, not a single person is willing to purchase this piece of crap.

I have the same issue. Apparently the A 12 update would resolve that, but sadly we'll never know as we ARE STILL ON ANDROID 11

ONE year later and we are still on A 11 .... SHAME ON YOU HMD!!

Hello everyone, to those who have not yet received Android 12 on Nokia G21 I recommend sending it to Nokia Care as I have been told to do on Nokia chat. I just got it back today and they did the update and I have gone from Android 11 5th October 2022 to Android 12 5th February Update. I was also getting cross as it was very slow getting updates in the UK and I wasn't getting Android 12 so if you are stuck on Android 11 please send it to Nokia Care by going on their website and typing in your issue and send it to them. I hope this is helpful.

Yes,I bought Nokia G21 on exchanging my Oppo A33 which was on Android 10 with Security Patch February-2023.My Nokia G21 still running on Android 11 with October-2022 Security Patch.Very bad experience.
