When will my nokia 5.3 receive an update to Android 12 ? I'm honestly tired with Android 11, several things I don't like on Android 11 and I really want the changes.

It seems so. It's really delayed. I many times defend nokia when many underestimate nokia. I hope nokia can be better than this

If it's going to get it at all, it's likely to be in late August, just as Android 11 arrived in late August last year -still nearly a year late of course, as Android 11 was last year. If there's nothing by the end of August, with the next security patch, then it's likely the 5,3 won't get Android 12 at all and Nokia will be counting the two years of software updates from the date of the phone's release (March/April 2020) meaning the two years has now expired even though Android 12 came out in September/October 2021 - well within the two years of software updates promise. I tend to think the 5,3 will indeed get Android 12 in August but if not it will be disingenuous, to say the least, on HMD's part.

And as you’ll seem some Nokia 5.3 phones are still waiting to receive Android 11 !!!! So there is no way all Nokia 5.3s will get Android 12.
HMD did a poor job with this model… and are intent on pushing the cheap “C” series with security updates only
it WILL get android 12 is its 2 os updates not 2 years of os updates just be patient and it will arrive soon
Patient my ar*e... stop being the eternal optimist... There are two software threads for the 5.3, one of which is still on Android 10..
Do your research before posting... No way HMD will upgrade those on Android 10
I feel sorry for the Nokia company that advertises people to buy their products by deceiving buyers and very, very weak support. Why should I wait until now for Android 12?
