The other phone you checked, was it running Android 10?

  • Yes, but on phone Samsung Galaxy S9+

  • If you have installed many apps on your phone but are unable to create more than a few widgets, there are a few things you can try to fix this issue:

    1. Check if there are any restrictions set by the manufacturer or your phone carrier that limit the number of widgets you can create. You can do this by going to the settings menu of your phone and looking for any options related to widgets.
    2. Check if the apps you want to create widgets for have widget support. Not all apps support widgets, so you may need to check if the apps you want to create widgets for have this functionality.
    3. Check if you have enough space on your home screen to add more widgets. If your home screen is already filled with widgets and app icons, you may need to remove some of them to create space for more widgets.
    4. Try restarting your phone or clearing the cache of the launcher app you are using. This can sometimes help fix issues related to widgets.
    5. Try using a different launcher app. Some third-party launcher apps offer more customization options, including the ability to create more widgets, so you may want to try using a different launcher app to see if that solves the problem.

How I can do point 4? First three dont work. 5th doesnt too, because Nokia 5.1 is to weak to can do it.

  • For point 4, you can check the factory setting; let me check some articles first.

  • Here is the solution:

    1. Restart your phone: Hold down the power button on your phone until the power menu appears, then select "Restart". This can help resolve many software-related issues.
    2. Clear the cache of the launcher app: The launcher app is the interface that controls the home screen and app drawer on your phone. Clearing its cache can sometimes help resolve issues with widgets. To do this, go to "Settings" > "Apps & notifications" > "See all apps" > "Launcher" > "Storage" > "Clear cache".

Once you have tried these steps, check to see if your widget issues have been resolved. If not, you may need to further troubleshoot the issue or contact Nokia support for assistance.

I hope this will help you.

"Settings" > "Apps & notifications" > "See all apps" > "Launcher" > "Storage" > "Clear cache".

Unfortunately I dont have "Laucher" app

  • It's possible that the issue with not being able to add more widgets is related to the settings on your device. Here are some steps you can try to fix the issue:

    1. Check your home screen settings: On your home screen, tap and hold on an empty area to access the settings. Look for an option that says "Widgets" or "Add Widgets" and make sure it's turned on.
    2. Clear cache and data of your home screen app: Go to your phone's Settings app, then navigate to "Apps & notifications". Find the app that controls your home screen (usually called "Launcher" or "Home") and select it. Tap on "Storage & cache" and then tap "Clear cache" and "Clear data".
    3. Restart your phone: Sometimes a simple restart can solve issues like this. Press and hold the power button on your phone until the "Power off" option appears, then tap it to turn off your phone. Wait a few seconds, then press and hold the power button again to turn your phone back on.
    4. Check for software updates: Make sure your phone's software is up to date by going to "System" in your Settings app, then tapping "Software update". If there's an update available, download and install it.
    5. Factory reset: If none of the above steps work, you may need to do a factory reset of your phone. This will erase all data on your phone, so be sure to back up any important files before proceeding. To do a factory reset, go to "System" in your Settings app, then tap "Advanced" and "Reset options". Select "Erase all data (factory reset)" and follow the on-screen instructions.

  • I did everything and still poblem exists.

    1) I can see some widgets, but a cannot see all of them. (But I know they should be there because I tested the same app on other android phone and everything works fine.)

    2) As I wrote - I dont have "Launcher" to clear cache

    3) I do it every day

    4) Software is update - Android 10 - 05.08.2021 (The newest what I can update for)

    5) I did it a few times. Nothing helps

  • I also experience same issue and I found authentic solution from this article.

Hello, Check Widget Availability: Make sure that the apps for which you want to create widgets actually support widget functionality. Not all apps have widget capabilities, so check the app's documentation or the developer's website to confirm if widgets are supported. Update Apps: Ensure that the apps in question are updated to their latest versions. Developers frequently release updates that may include bug fixes and new features, including widget support. Visit the respective app stores (such as Google Play Store or Apple App Store) to check for available updates for your apps. https://www.homebargainsportal.com/

  • If you're experiencing an issue with missing widgets on your Nokia 5.1, where you can only create a few widgets despite having installed many apps, there are a few possible solutions you can try:

    1. Check widget availability: Not all apps provide widgets for direct placement on the home screen. Some apps may not have widgets available or may have limited widget options. Verify if the apps you're looking for actually offer widgets by checking their respective app settings or documentation.

    2. Restart your device: Sometimes, a simple restart can help resolve temporary glitches. Try restarting your Nokia 5.1 and see if the missing widgets reappear afterward.

    3. Update apps: Ensure that all your installed apps are up to date. Outdated app versions may not have the latest widget features or could have compatibility issues. Go to the Google Play Store, open the "My apps & games" section, and update any apps that have available updates.

    4. Clear cache and data: If the above steps don't resolve the issue, you can try clearing the cache and data of the launcher app on your device. The launcher controls the home screen and app/widget placement. Follow these steps to clear cache and data:

      - Go to your device settings.

      - Select "Apps" or "Application Manager."

      - Find your default launcher app (e.g., "Launcher" or "Home Screen") and tap on it.

      - In the app settings, you'll find options to clear cache and data. Start by clearing the cache first and check if the issue is resolved. If not, you can proceed to clear the data as well. Note that clearing data will reset your home screen layout and app/widget preferences, so you may need to reconfigure them afterward.

    5. Use a different launcher: If the problem persists, you can consider using a different launcher from the Google Play Store. There are several third-party launchers available that provide more customization options, including widget placement. Popular options include Nova Launcher, Microsoft Launcher, and Action Launcher. Install a launcher of your choice, set it as the default launcher, and check if you can create the missing widgets using the new launcher.

If none of these solutions resolve the issue, it's recommended to contact the customer support of Nokia or the manufacturer of your device for further assistance. They will have specific knowledge about your Nokia 5.1 model and can provide more targeted solutions or escalate the issue if necessary.

I hope these suggestions help you fix the missing widget issue on your Nokia 5.1. Let me know if you have any further questions!

    Regards;

    David Johnson.
