7.2 battery drain issue and possible solutions

Dear Nokia community,

I've been using the Nokia 7.2 for over a year now, and I've been experiencing severe battery drain issues. I've tried all the usual fixes like closing background apps, reducing screen brightness, and disabling features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth when not in use, but the battery still drains quickly.

I've also noticed that the battery drain seems to be worse when I use certain apps like social media or video streaming apps. I've tried deleting these apps and using alternatives, but the issue persists.

I'm not sure what's causing this problem, and it's becoming increasingly frustrating as I rely on my phone for work and personal use. I don't want to have to constantly charge my phone throughout the day or carry a power bank with me wherever I go.

I would appreciate any advice or suggestions from the Nokia community on how to resolve this issue. Have any other Nokia 7.2 users experienced similar battery drain problems, and if so, what solutions have you found? Is there a particular app or feature that could be causing the problem, and if so, how can I identify and address it?

Thank you for your help and support. I look forward to hearing your insights and recommendations.

  • Dear Nokia 7.2 user,

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing severe battery drain issues on your device, despite trying several solutions to address it. It's understandable that this problem is frustrating, especially when you rely on your phone for both work and personal use.

One thing you could try is checking the battery usage details on your phone to identify if there are any specific apps or features that are consuming a lot of battery. You can do this by going to Settings > Battery > Battery usage. From here, you can see which apps and features are using the most battery and take appropriate action, such as disabling or limiting their usage.

Another solution you could consider is performing a factory reset on your phone. This can help to clear out any software issues that could be causing the battery drain. However, be sure to backup all your important data before doing this, as it will erase all data on your device.

If the problem persists after trying these solutions, you could contact Nokia support for further assistance. They may be able to provide additional troubleshooting steps or advise on whether the issue requires a repair or replacement.

I hope this helps, and I wish you the best of luck in resolving this issue.

    Sincerely

    Rahul
