WLAN Failure by last security and system update on G21

WLAN no longer works after the latest update (Google Play Systemupdate Feb.1.2023, Securityupdate Feb.5.2023 ).

All attempts of troubleshooting (even after described instructions, network reset, etc.) are unsuccessful. 

A factory reset is out of the question for me.

I then contacted the support.

The support informed me about 14 days ago, that's a global issue and they are already working on a solution.

I hope there is an interim update to solution.

We haven't received the Feb 2023. Still on September 2022 patch.

The Support tells you a white lie. Actually, Nokia Support (email or chat) is outsourced to a 3rd party and they know nothing about Nokia devices and their problems. When you ask them, they reply with already prepared answers just to calm the customers. I'm dead sure the representative who answered your query doesn't even know what G21 mobile looks like. 🤣

it's okay if support is outsourced and people are possibly paid fairly for it.

But I'm not the only one who expects problems to be passed on to the technology department for resolution.

By the way, the bug affects Android 12 on the G21.

Yesterday, there were two updates that did not fix the problem.

Security update status G-Play Mar, 1, 2023.

Wifi still cannot be turned on.

Is there perhaps a workaround as an interim solution (no factory reset)?

good news:

Today there was a system update (00WW_2_640) march.05.2023 and wlan works fine.

wifi hotspot still not (network reset and soft-restart do not help here)

at least wlan works again

After update of (00WW_2_640) my hotspot not turned ON. I tried all.
