    Faced same issue but resolved for me. It happens after each security update. Please try following the below steps.

    1. Go to settings - Security and location
    2. In the last section, you can find 'Trusted agents'. Click it and disable Smart lock.
    3. Restart the device
    4. Go to 'trusted agents' again and enable the smart lock.
    5. Now go back to security and location and check smart lock and find the options returned.
