This is false! Nokia 6.1 plus has a Snapdragon 636 SoC which supports LTE speed upto 600 Mbps and SD625 that Moto g5s lineup uses can go upto 300 Mbps only. So, the information displayed on the website (of which the link you have given) is false.
  • I have bought Nokia 6.1 plus but internet speed is very slow compared to Moto g5s plus.

Also services is not satisfactory of Nokia. I have sent email various time but don't get any positive response.

Can you tell how the internet speed will be increased?
Please write on my email id [email protected]
if u got solution please inform me at [email protected]

  • Im getting a really poor speed on my jio 4g sim on nokia 6.1 plus, when i use the same jio sim in my other device it works completely fine, whats wrong here i have use airtel 4g sim and it works absolutely fine, im facing this problem on jio sim but why help us
  • I have the same issue with Vodafone, so it's definitely a mobile problem. I used to get 10+ Mbps with my LG Q6 on Vodafone LTE in my house. With Nokia 6.1 Plus I am only getting 3-4 Mbps.
  • You can't change the modem mode as far as I'm aware.  On a fairly crummy-strength 4G tower on Band 3 I'm currently cracking 50+Mbps which isn't too terrible, better than my FTTN anyway!

I used to get 15-16 Mbps on Vodafone's 4G in Moto g5s plus (my previous phone) then I switched to 6.1 plus, now I get 2 Mbps max. I thought this device's network reception is crappy but then I activated internet on my second sim which is a Airtel network, it easily gives 13-15 Mbps in peak hours and upto 40 Mbps in nighttime. So, I don't think it is device's problem, it is the problem of Vodafone. I think it is something to do with their on going network merger with Idea cellular. You can test on another device to confirm.
  • my airtel speed 8-10 mbps in day and upto 70 mbps in night(after 3 am)

This might not be the issue with everyone but on my Nokia 6.1 plus i tested my speed on ookla and I was barely getting 1Mbps and i should be getting around 15 to 40Mbps.

So i went into the settings on ookla speedtest and at the top you can choose between MB/s or Mbps... Well previously I had it set to MB/s once I switched it over to Mbps i was recorded the 20+Mbps.
So just make sure you are on the right setting first!
As you can see in the picture i now have it set too (UNITS) Mbps
    (SCALE) 100

Previously I had it on MB/s and was getting much lower test speeds!
