I am a fan of this phone. It has a lot of potential for people that enjoy the feel and functionality of a real phone with buttons. That being said, it is in real need of a firmware update. There are bugs in the software that need to be addressed. Please take the time to keep this phone alive for the people that enjoy it.

On the Nokia 3310 3G, I cannot find the options to:
1) Assign shortcut commands to the D-pad
2) Set Profiles (profiles are missing)
3) No "Go To" option
These were features I used a lot on my second phone so I need them to work. I've seen videos online with it working for people with a Nokia 3310 but I can't find the options on mine.
Thanks in advance for your help.

> Hello, I have just purchased a Nokia 3310 3G to use as a second phone. I previously had a simple reliable Nokia 105 but it broke so this is to replace it.

Same here comeon hmd whats the point in a phone you cannot update. Why isn’t the 4g version coming in europe?
Sadly not available on the 3G version which is a different os.
The factory version has some errors.

While hoping I'm wrong about this, I don't expect to see any plans to update it on the air, like older S40 phone had, I imagine the hardware itself would need a very specific computer software to do that and by the way it wasn't always that easy even back in the old nokia days that depended a lot on updater sw versions, drivers, o.s., etc. Also an on-the-air-updater would probably need a specific chip maker feature together with a tested specific o.s. feature. All these feature phones have different combination of hw/sw so, I am expecting different sw only on newly released and sold phones or based also on the releasing country. I may be wrong but I think I remember seeing some youtube Nokia 130 reviews having a newer sw version that I've never seen even in newer model here in Europe.
Even after its extreme popularity and usage, it lacks some of the significant features demanded by its users. In this regard, there is a solution for this, a mod application that’s increasing its functionality at a pro-level. It is making it more valuable and secure application for its users. The application is GbWwhatsApp Apk. https://gbmodapk.net/
anyone else have a problem ending calls? i hit the end/power button on a call, it put's them on hold. hitting it again re-dials them. 0_o
also the ringer volume keeps dropping back to 5 (default?)
i could get past the lack of shortcuts on the (tiny) directional pad. and the shortish talk time on the battery, but the above two problems are a deal breaker. can't hear the phone, and look like a moron when ending calls.
sorry to add to the conversation, but i couldn't find how to start a thread. -_-
I also have a problem ending calls, have to take out the battery to end a call.
I ask the online chat, they only said my phone have a problem.
There are other problems-
Cannot hear the voice from the call after connected a while, I have to select reset to factory setting to fix it, the problem occur around once a week.
I have problem with bluetooth connect with Suzuki Ignis
I have older version of this phone and it was OK, now mobile is restart.
If i connect at Suzuki mobile freeze and after this mobile power off and on,
i didnt update suzuki firmware, where is problem ?
