    A whole month later since pie was rolled out to Nokia 3.1. Still waiting for Android Pie to be released for Nokia 3.

    As expected earlier, we are getting new question almost every day about release date of Pie update to Nokia 3. Nokia had provided Oreo 8.1 update in second half of December 2018, which was buggy. So, after re-working they released the stable update in second half of March 2019. Still few users are claiming this update as buggy. After getting 8.1 update in March 2019, everybody started asking for Pie update to this handset immediately. Due to old & slow Mediatek processor, it is difficult to push new updates to this phone. Nokia had started working on Pie update to Nokia 3 on 25th March 2019. They need at least 2-3 months to test Pie update on this phone. If they release buggy update in hurry now, everybody will start complaining about buggy Pie update. Anyway, this is the last OS update to this handset. Nokia 3 won’t get further OS updates. Have some patience and faith in them. Hopefully, they may able to provide stable Pie update to this phone in second half of this month or early next month.

    Your are right and peoples are also agree with you. But because they are using android one phone so they are accepting update ASAP.

    How u can say that's they started pie testing on 25th March, pie spotted on fih server on 1st April for Nokia 3

    Although I am not sure about this date, but they might had started process of pie update from their side on 25th March which was spotted later on fih server on 1st April.

    I hope the update comes sometime this month. I'd really like to see Android 9 on my Nokia 3. I'll will be getting the Nokia 6.1 soon with a snap dragon processor. I know these mediatek processors take time for new software to be tested.
