Android 10 Q update will be available after Google Release it Officially ,You can Expect few devices under Developer Builds for Few Nokia Phones In Google I/O 2019 and other phones came expect from Oct 2019 onwards
Tested Q on a Pixel. Looking good. Has Navigation same as iPhone X now.
Such a development Google has done. There is a severe lack of innovation in the software field. Everybody just seems to copy each other and eventually all OSes will look alike
Disappointment for 6.1 plus users. I personally expected 6.1 plus will get Android Q beta update first rather than other devices. This time 8.1 users are lucky that they are receiving Android Q beta first among the Nokia devices.
@Gopi M but feel good for that you escaped from big issue. users installed that Android Q are experiencing severe OS issue and they even unable to revert to Android 9 Pie.they have literally stuck in that preview build. You can look into the forum page and come to know
There are some major problem with releasing android pie on many nokias. I think that before Q betas google should announce official Q AOSP with name and then I hope that there will normal beta start. At this moment IMHO this is a very risky stuff. Still maybe... after few beers...
One thing I've noticed that when device got pie update it lost a major and most underestimated feature that is you couldn't play FM with Bluetooth devices. Yes, you heard it right when there was android 8 in device I was able to play FM without inserting earphones. I used to play with my JBL speaker. But when it's updated to pie, device lost this feature.
P.s - I hope nothing like this will happen when android Q will be updated in our devices.
@HMD_Laura@HMD Global Now every one has this question.will the Android Q can be served without bugs or with the same scenario like when devices got Pie update and suffered for almost 4 months to fix that critical issues and will Nokia 3 and Nokia 1 can handle the upcoming Pie update with the Old MediaTek chip set?
As Nokia 7 Plus, we can all agree, is one of the most successful smartphones of the Nokia line up I think it'd be smart of them to release Android Q Beta for 7 Plus as well, just a thought.
Hey i have nokia 8.1 and I am trying to install Android q beta on my phone. But i am unable to do so. It says '<span>Sorry, it looks like the Nokia phones Android developer preview program isn't currently supported on your phone.' Do anyone have idea to fix this?</span>
@wichit dujprasong Hello,As per 2 years of Major OS, Android 9 is the last major OS for Nokia 3 Nokia 3 launched with Android 7.0.0 so last major OS will be Android 9 Pie.
