Hi all!
I'm confused between Nokia 7.1 and Nokia 6.1 plus (6gb). I really want to go for 7.1 but the latter has 16mp rear and front camera and also it's 6gb RAM at a lesser price. The reviews have me a lot more confused. Need an honest opinion.
Thank you
Are you still crazy to buy this mobile after so many negative reviews. You will spoil your money. This is a cheater company selling defective proeucts. Please never ever buy Nokia
Charging issue , inquired at nokia care about it they said liquid damage but my phone was never near water and they are charging me 1000 rs though my phone is in warranty period
Hi. i've been using Nokia 6.1 plus for 5 Months and is pretty good compact phone. Although there are some serious issues regarding the device especially battery issue. I mean 3% drop for 15 minutes is quite shocking but i can see why ,mainly because brightness ,RAM management/switching to apps to apps and Connectivity (Either Data 4G-3G-2G and Wi-Fi). oh and the app itself
Suggestion: Can we have better kernel regarding battery and power management? then again the downside we can't have a snappy feeling when opening apps. OEM unlocking is nice to have Also New Camera feature like Photo Sphere and Nightsight..
Where can I buy 6.1plus's MOTHERBOARD? If anyone is on way of selling its parts? On matter of second hand! Please reply if any one is to sell its parts.
I have visited NOkia service center today to rectify my Noika 7+ charging port issue. Pls not the following:
1. The phone has been bought on Aug 2018 and is under warranty
2. Service center says warranty is void as there is a physical damage.
3. I have never noticed a physical damage so far
4. Today after inspection I noticed another damage( as per your service center, only damage ) . I dont know how that came after inspection. I dont consider it as a damage or affects the aesthetics/performance.
5.More than 5 people were at service center with same compliant of charging port and all were turned down with one or other reason. few i could not even find a damage.
6.They have asked for Rs.1600/- to correct the same without warranty, citing nokia won't accept such observations.
If few people over a sample time of 20-30 minutes has same issue and all are turned down, does it ring a bell?. There is something with quality?.
Nokia was bought only because of the quality and legacy i experienced continuously for years. Even microsoft mobile was working perfectly.
You may look in to this issue w.r.t quality and methodology of service center to make warranty void.
You may advice me accordingly to resolve the issue.
HMD brought back Nokia into the mobile phone industry which got a lot of people excited including myself.
Millions of people have bought handsets with subjectively beautiful designs and competent clean software but now thousands are facing issues with their faulty charging port. I own Nokia 6.1 Plus in India (Nokia X6 in China) which now after 5-6 months from purchase has an extremely loose USB C charging port, the phone doesn't charge properly anymore, one has to adjust the cable to make sure the phone charges and can't be used while charging. Nokia has an active online community where so many users have posted regarding the same. The worst part is that Nokia 6.1 Plus is not the only handset facing this issue, users have reported the same thing happening with Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 5.1 Plus on their respective threads. Also, Nokia's authorized service partners are giving a timeline of 1 month wait time for the repair process and quoting up to 2K INR for repair if the warranty period is over or if they deny warranty in case any they find any water damage. If there is any design or manufacturing fault with the charging port.
The perfect and commendable solution for HMD would be to realize this is unacceptable and recall all handsets and repair the charging port with a properly designed/manufactured one free of cost as its almost inevitable to avoid this issue upon regular use.

this is not good. tell me what i do heating and drain problem............next time i will not buy nokia phone this is the last time i trust nokia this is my bad experience.......
Just got my 6.1 plus and I liked it. The design is great, but the deciding factor was Android One. Too much bloatware from other manufacturers.
My issue is with battery percentage on the status bar. It is INSIDE the battery icon. Its illegible, especially when its white on grey (when the battery gets emptier).
It would be fantastic, if I could choose, what I want to see. As the battery icon is so tiny, I don't care about it. Battery percent ONLY would be so much better.

I bought Nokia 6.1Plus just by trusting this brand phone will last longer. But in less than 3 months my phone is not getting charged, Finger print sensor is not working and loudspeaker doesn't work during calls. I visited service center and they are asking me to leave phone for 25days or more. This is kind of service and product quality you people are providing. Please stop cheating people by using name of Trusted brand Nokia. Please replace my phone or return my money. And there is no resale value for this phone. The money we spent on buying this phone is hard earned money, it wont matter to you as there may be many unsatisfied customer like me. Please think of customers before cheating world wide. If i dont get this fixed asap, then i will try my best to spread this content and rating for HMD global and their products overall the internet. Kind Regards, Hamzha
