Nokia 5 has received a new update with a new pie build (including the June 2019 security patch). The update is 391.8 MB in size.

    I haven't noticed any changes, yet. I did find something in the system. In AIDA64, there was this new feature in the device features called com.nxp.mifare.  If you search it, it is actually for the NFC chip for this phone. The brand is called MIFARE. Maybe I'm wrong about this being newly added.

    Yeah I face it too even when it is empty. But it's not bugging much, just slightly.

    The update has not yet been released in Austria or Germany. But only in Tunisia and Malaysia.

    If it's possible, you can use a vpn trick for the update to appear. But it is still recommended to just wait.

    Just wanted to ask. Does casting to a device (for example, laptop) work? Because when I tried it before, it didn't work. Can you guys check in the latest update if the issue still persists?

    I'm from Austria and the update has not been released yet. I do not know how long do you need to get it out for an update? Slowly it becomes embarrassing for Nokia

    This bypass has never been a bug, but a trick to some android phones. Also, this has been a thing since the first gen phones (starting from Android 7).

    Sorry to distract you @HMD_Laura but I want to ask something. It may seem obvious that it will not but - will the first-gen Nokia phones still get MR updates even when the 2 year software upgrade is done?
