Snapdragon 636 support 60 fps but not the phone .? Why??
The phone supports it yes, But the camera app is the one that does not allow it. You can Open Camera from Google Play, Or If you are comfortable with sideloading apps, Install GCam from XDA. You should now be able to shoot videos at 60FPSUsing gcam... Improve image quality but when video recording is set to 60 fps it still record in 30 fps..
Though gcam has the option to record in 60 fps but the phone itself doesn't support. Even with the 60fps selected the video looks like recorded in 30 fps. You can try it yourself. Record a video in 60fps using gcam and check out the details of that video. You'll find the frame rate as 30 fps.
