    Nothing wrong with my battery, but I get restarts. However only ever when streaming radio, mainly with TuneIn but once after several hours on BBC iPlayer Radio. TA-1004

    Hi,
    I am from Bangladesh. I have the same issue . But Here, Nokia care also said that i need to replace the battery ..They said they don't have battery.. why they don't have battery??? and they also said they will get battery in 3 days or 7 days..now 2 month is gone..why they are wasting my time ???...
    I will request Nokia to visit Bangladesh and take action for them

    Great number of failed components probably depleted their reserves. They don't have any spare components and they are certainly not making new ones. So much for a flagship Nokia phone. Buyer beware.

    I also face "Nokia 8 Randomly Restart and Sound Breaking Problem" on my phone after 1 year of purchase. I'v used other brand phones for long time without any trouble.

    I will never, ever purchase Noika phone again or suggest anyone for Nokia.

    Hi,
    I am also face same problem like restart phone when open the camera, hang or not responding the camera while changing camera front to back or back to front, sound freezes problem, ring tune not play properly during incoming call & music playing time. Phone get too much hot if use mobile data for browsing internet and battery software give warning for overheat the phone.

    even i am facing the same problem since i got the updates in Feb 19.
    Just tell me if you got any software based solution for this.
    I just tried to downgrade the phone to Oreo but after oreo is getting installed still phone is searching the pie update and problem continues.

    This is not the software issue. Buy the new battery and those issues will gone. Happened on me.

    Same problem here... I lost faith in nokia... I will never buy nokia again.. this nokia 8 is filled with full bugs... I am using this from 2 years.. there is no single day as it has no problem... The worst experience... This hmd is fooling loyal customers... they are treating us as we brought a cheap phone..

    But after that it doesn't happen again...

    Find a battery replacement, if you cant find it on your local market, then buy it from ebay/alibaba, i found it for around $6, then ask profesional technician help to install it
    Your phone gonna work normal again
    I've endure this problem since feb/march till i replace the battery yesterday

    @user1519486478347 What's wrong with "Nokia"? Sorry, it is only a name. Nobody would buy an "HMD Global".
    The "Nokia's" from "today" have nothing to do with the former original.
    The result you/ we can see, when you read the comments here. And, when you use the actual "Nokia's" with her "high quality cameras" and the different bugs.
    They roll out many new smartphones over the year, but they don't repair not on of the "old" smartphones.

    Nokia is such a bad product, my sound skips, phone goes off anyhow, phone keep restarting. I think it's hardware problem , changing of battery won't do ****, the way out is to start saving for a new phone .

    :/ My phone is restarting by itself, the customer care in Nokia is absolutely of no help, just irritated over this Nokia 8 problem, lost trust on nokia phones

    Nokia 8 processor, i.e. Snapdragon 835 lacks hardware AI engine. You just have to turn off Adaptive battery from settings. Doing so, will let internal P.S.U. to work, which is not only responsible to hand over heavy works to higher frequency subdies, but also controls liquid cooling mechanism.

    My Nokia 8 has started to restart when I am using the phone......eve when I open camera..... This phone already restarted twice before I have written this command since the time I have started writing 😥
