Yeah, it's currently a bug/issue on the Nokia 5 that the Dolby Equalizer can't be opened or customized especially on Google Play Music. Nokia promised a fix soon but I hope it would be sooner though. Let's wait for official updates.
Hi, like I quoted above which worked for me: 1. Go to Settings 2. Select Apps 3. Select the 3-dots on the upper right, then select Show System 4. Find and select the MusicFX app on the list 5. Then select Storage 6. Then select Clear Cache, then Clear Data 7. Now, go back to Google Play and select Equalizer settings, and it may be already available to do your adjustment settings. 8. I hope that helps, if not, research further on forums, I guess...
Hello, this is the Generic Equalizer for Android, it is not Dolby Surround Sound.
Dolby Surround Sound is just a screen with Turn ON, OFF, Music Mode or Theater Mode... in the case of Dolby ATMOs if it is a complete Equalizer with many Options.
Well... I guess we'll have to clarify with Nokia directly then. I think Dolby Atmos is only exclusive to Nokia 6? But it's good enough that we can access this equalizer by doing workaround, even if it is generic, on Play Music or any other music app than nothing. Let's see if Nokia can give us an answer on this...
