A couple of mine do, but a couple don't. Guess they will work again after the final version is released unless they need updating to fully support 10
Google Pay, Santander Wallet, Lloyds Bank and Barclaycard as I assume they think the device has been rooted and I guess will work again on final release of 10. I've also noticed UKTV Play and Netflix won't install.
i think banking apps in general don't work, as i'm also having issues with all my banking apps.

I have faced following on OTA beta : - once or twice per day phone will go totally black and hardboot only helps. - if I download pdf file example from web site it cannot open it even Acrobat installed. - calls are working fine as well as wifi
Are you using Chrome for download, If yes then use different browser cuz i tried downloading multiple file from chrome, it shows like download is complete but file is not present in down
For those who has issue with the call try updating the phone app from playstore after joining the beta program.. I installed the beta version of phone app and it works fine now

I am already on beta version but problem still exists.
Okay, so what I actually did was to update all the Google-provided apps and available apps to beta version... I am attaching the screenshot of the same and there was an update for the phone app yesterday which actually worked on my case.... and when I test it the calls were working fine and before it was working only when the speaker was ON
Just try updating the google provided apps to beta version... hope that helps
so, so far i don't seem to be having any issues with the mic not working. if anything, apart from my banking apps and the lack of Netflix, this build is quite stable. any other issues just seem to be optimisation problems
Hi @Manoj Shenoy that's a really good idea, to update all Google apps to the beta versions. The beta versions are probably being developed to work correctly on Android Q where as the current versions are only intended for Android 9.
Well I used it for an hour or so and I couldn't listen to the other person on the line. Like it's totally blank. I can only listen to them when it's in speaker mode or using an earphone.
Also, after rolling back I am getting the old June Security Patch (59E_SP02) but not the August update which was released a week back (I did update the device before installing Beta 5). So why can't I get the August Patch till now ??!?? Not even the July update.. like please respond to the issue in build 5 and also release the August Patch.
P.S. I can't even unregister from the developer portal even after rolling back to the public release!!!!
I used the OTA too but never had speaker problem! If you installed OTA one thing you shouldn't do is restore apps from PIE it renders everything unusable
So what do I do about my apps and their data ?? Start from scratch ?!.. Never had that problem in My Nokia 7 plus with android pie developer preview.. It was really really stable as the public build..
Also another thing.. does your phone get stuck sometimes showing nothing but a white screen.. I had to wait for almost an hour to make it restart..
In android Q they have implemented a lot of basic file system related changes and tightened security measure "Which were not available in previous versions" so thats why its in compatible with previous versions. And yes to your second point it does restart with either a black screen and i have to manually restart it or a white screen error which automatically reboots itself!
Will we get the Beta 6 version before the final update to Android 10?
Taking much time to release beta 6,already they have OTA functionality in beta 5 itself , don't know why yet to release for beta 6 . But google planned stable version release on September 3

I hope that bypassing beta 6 will speed up the release of the final update. Bugs that bother some users on beta 5 need to be corrected and checked, beta 6 would make sure that bugs are eliminated. We will see, I hope we will get the final update in September. Although the official information stated that in the 4th quarter, which is unfortunately only October.
I think that HMD will stop the Android Developer Preview programme weeks before they release Android Q for the 8.1 - this is what happened with the 7+ last year.
I have the same issue.. hope this will be fix in coming update

I upgraded to android q beta release 5 on my 8.1 which became available OTA last week. Since the upgrade am facing 2 issues:
1. The person I call does not hear me well if I speak with the phone held to my ear. They can hear me fine when I put them on speaker
2. When my phone is locked or in my pocket for long, I am unable to unlock it as the display does not come back on when I press the power button. It seems the phone just switched off an I need to hardboot it using power and volume down buttons.
Anyone else facing this?
1. DO NOT restore from backup, start from scratch and this problem does not happen
2. Never experienced that one
Yeah bro. I am also facing the same issue. Had to rollback to the public release. Never faced these issues in Android P Developer Preview.
so i've been using the build for about three days without much hassle. it works, and the bugs seem few and far between. i do have a question though, am i the only one that thinks that the bar for the gesture navigation is too close to the bottom of the screen ?
I also have the same microphone issue on call. Please someone help if you got any solution
As I have said before, when you upgrade to Android 10 DO NOT restore from a backup. Instead start afresh and install all apps from scratch. Then the mic issue DOES NOT occur!
I also have the same microphone issue on call. Please someone help if you got any solutio Some people say that it is a problem with Google Assistant. Google Assistant uses microphone permission.
