Multiple restarts

Anyone facing multiple restarts whenever you want to restart?
When I restart my phone it restarts 3-4 times in a row......

    Yes, me and my wife's phone does this nearly every time, but ours might do this 1-8 times a row when restarting.
    Both phones are about two years old.
    Haven't done full factory resets on both for obvious reasons.
    If someone has the courage (or have the time to install nearly everything) to do the reset, please inform did it help?

    To find out if constant rebooting (or any other problem that is not restricted to one app) is due to a software bug, the Nokia advice would be:
    1 - restart
    2 - do a soft reset

    In this forum people also advise to check if the problem isn't caused by a defective SD card by simply removing the card and restarting the phone.

    If that doesn't help, you can try what Android advises:
    1 - be sure to have all of the latest software
    2 - be sure to have enough storage on your phone
    3 - boot in safe mode to find out if any of the apps that you have installed is causing the problem.

    Only if all of this doesn't help: try a factory reset.

    If all of this doesn't help it won't be a software bug but a hardware problem that needs to be repaired by a Nokia care service.

    Just one short addition: some people have also blamed a defective SIM-Card ...

    So their solution to fix constant restarting is to restart phone? Great.

    Hi
    Found out that my and my wife's phones restarting was caused by Google Fit widget, removing it from both phones stopped multiple restartings. I must to clarify that our phones did not randomly restart but when you turn the phones on, they went this restarting loop.
    I'm not saying that the widget is faulty, but it surely has combatibility issues with our two Nokia 8 phones.
    The Google Fit program is okay but its widget not.

    Next week I was ready to send my phone for screen replacement due to "white pressure point". 
     But,Today the speaker started to distorts the sound heavily and few minutes later the speaker stopped working completely.
    Tried to restart it and after that it restarted by itself 5 times in a row!
    Wow, I thought that this will be the end :) but  this dirty [email protected] started. Why you didn't die completely and forever?
    Next week I'm going to send it to the seller and will pray for it, to be thrown away into the trash and to offer me another phone, from another brand!
