Hey there, recently I am having big battery draining.
If I am going to sleep I keep my phone powered on. (Monitor off of course)
The last few weeks (3 weeks) my phone has been draining battery for nothing!
When I check the battery management to see what uses the most it only comes up with a few things like Twitter I used the evening before.
That would lose 3%, and the monitor itself says 2% or something.
But when I wake up I only have +/- 70% left? While it was charged 100% before sleeping, with the original Nokia charger.
Would like to know if anyone of you guys also have this problem.
I am using the newest Android 9.0.
Already contacted Nokia support, they are giving me various options to try, wont really work.....

One 3rd party app you can try is gsam battery monitor to help see what is using the battery. You can also try putting phone in safe mode when you go to bed and see what battery discharge is happening overnight.

Battery draining can happen bc of apps . Use safe mode to verify if it's an app. Please post your battery chart here so some can look and help.

I did a factory reset, that helped kind of great, I should advise you to try that.
It won't fully fix, I believe the battery was better before, but it can last a full day!
Probably going to return the phone soon if it keeps bugging me.
I would highly recommend this phone and the battery is average in size and performs well based on that capacity.

I do recommend the phone as well, I am very happy with it, great design, good performance, and the best price out there.
But this battery issue is bugging me.
But there probably is a fix, and I just might need to return it to the store and get it repaired/a new one.
Now i barely have 26 hours with the phone ready to shut down. I am monitoring all the apps that are using the battery and it is all like usual and nothing looks to drain it more than it should. I have even uninstalled few new apps that should not have anything to do with the drain but just in case because they where new.
At this point I cannot identify the cause of the drain. I hope it will be fixed with the March security patch/maintenance patch.
I would look closely at your battery discharge, a good app to use is GSam battery monitor. The apps or combination of apps you have can act as you describe and be ok one week and change the next. Can you post some screenshots of the battery stats.

Can you post some screenshots of the battery stats so we can help review ?

although after the factory reset, it performs a bit better tho
Drained 12% last night :-/
Your screen was on for 1 hour and 26 mins I do not see anything unusual with 10-12 % battery discharge. A full days usage after 100percent charge over a couple of days comparison would be better data set to look bc a small couple.hour snapshot is not indicative of battery usage.

My phone dose not chsrge properly and full night i charged my phone but it charge only 60 to 70 percent
Your phone not charging past 60-70 percent is a different issue. Have you tried a different cord or charger. Or plug it into a different outlet.

Can you post a pic of complete day after it is charged to 100?
What screen brightness do you have your phone set to.?

Jason
I would install an app called GSam Battery Monitor and this will give you better information on how the battery is being depleted. Have you contacted support on the my phone app?
Regards
Jason
Thanks

1. On call mute/hold problem
2. Battery drained to 0%.
Today I watched YouTube with BT enabled and connected to a speaker for an hour and 10 minutes with the brightness at around half, but it still managed to eat up 21% of my battery.
Overall I used 50% of my battery in 9 hours, of which the screen was on for 3 hours.
I have exactly the same issue. Bought mine this March 2020 and i haven't enjoyed the battery. I chatted Nokia support and it's bot helping.
I believe it's time Nokia improve on their battery capacity for smartphones, this ain't feature phones anymore.
How can a whole 7.1 have 3000mAh capacity. Even my friend's 4.2 of same battery capacity last longer (integrated battery i guess) for at least 2days with mobile data, games, social media things and novel reading.
The battery is making me sick of the phone already... @Hmd_nokia
