After seeing the fiasco in Nokia 8.1 community, I am least enthusiastic about getting 10. Nokia seriously needs to polish and test their updates before releasing it to the public.

They never do that, they just push update. In android 10 test rom for 7+ the camera is still not working in 3rd build

I don't get it... Why don't they open up beta labs for 7+ and have volunteers test the roms before mass release.
What the point of being a company that pushes updates fast to the customers but almost breakes their devices.
I am thinking of changing my ship to other company. I am pretty sure we will have the same result if last year's experience with Pie was anything to go by with.

Q has less bugs then pie 😂
Seriously!!! Then that is some good news. But still, I would like to see how things go. The last Q beta release for 8.1 was almost a stable release yet the official release is a lot buggy.

Sometimes you need to factory reset your phone after updating to latest software. This is because when using older version you might have changed some settings or may have given access to some apps to change/modify settings. This results in update not getting installed properly.
Just factory reset it and install all your apps again 😉

Isn't an update supposed to work without issues out of the box. I am aware of complete reset and surely it would work fine for people with less apps. But what about those who have many apps?
Even if camera works, I don't think they're gonna release Q for 7plus anytime soon. 😢 Best surprise would be to release it with November security patch ! But that's highly unlikely !

Motorola one was launched after 7+ and 7+ was the first one to receive pie from Nokia. This time 8.1 was the first device. You should not forget what moto did with g5+ update 😂
Personally i fell inclined to upgrade to android 10 because the pie os on my 7+ has many bugs and nokia has not romove it with any of their update if i could go back to android 6 i would that's just my opinion
I could't even update to Android 9. Does anyone know how can I get the update ? My phone says it is updated already but the last one is from May 01 2018.
I had a bad experience to update my Nokia 7 plus to Android 9, after that I had screen freezing problem that very annoyed me , the problem not solved. I saw that many people have the same problem. Nokia center change my phone and get me a new one. And after I take the new phone, I have turned off the automatic update and I work with Android 8.0 and have no problem until now, like before I have updated to Android 9. But the camera app in Android 8.1 or 9 was better. I scared to update and have no problem now. So for Android 10, I wait and see if the people have problem with Android 10 or not and after a while I will update my phone to Android 10. And if they had problem I will use Android 8 untill the phone works.
While I'm excited for the Android 10 update, I'm deeply disappointed in HMD because i see even random brands launching 10 for their mid-range devices. Even Samsung M20 got the update today. And I'm still putting forward my "Android One" banner and do nothing about it.

N7+ started with OREO (8). How would you go "back" to Marshmallow (6)??? Just wondering...
Hi Soliz, you should follow the instructions on this page at XDA. Read carefully before flashing.
