Does Nokia 8.1 Indian version (TA-1121) support 4G+ / Carrier Aggregation? I am using Jio & Airtel sim both having 4G+ connectivity in our circle butI never saw 4G+ on this device ( checked with network cell info also it is showing 4G only)
I haven't seen 4G+ on My Nokia 8.1(Indian) but Airtel and Jio Support Carrier Aggression in my area (Look at screenshot Airtel supported)even if doesn't shows 4G+.Australian Units Single SIM shows 4G+.

This is NetMonster app right? It is showing wrong info. Sometimes it will even show 3CA (850+1800+2300 please see the SS below) in my area which is technically impossible with Snapdragon 710 SoC since it will only support upto 2CA. You can check with Network cell info app it will show the correct info.
Nokia 8.1 has 4G+/Carrier Aggregation support. It's showing as 4G even our phone is receiving 4G+ Signal from the mobile operator.
EU, Au & Middle East Version (Dual SIM) do support 4G+ other forum members already confirmed that. But I really doubht about Indian version. Nobody provided the proof yet. Either in status bar showing 4G+ or with some credible 3rd party app like Network Cell Info.

Yes you got the point now. Now it is confirmed that 4G+ capability of Indian version of Nokia 8.1 is purposefully disabled by Nokia for some reasons. Nokia team should answer why it is disabled only for Indian version.
I think most of the Indian users are not even aware of this. We should start a petition to change this.

I personally checked on iphone too, it seems only metro cities have 4g+. It's not rolled out to every nook and corner.
Every Jio tower supports 4G+ everywhere in India. NetMonster app is not right everytime. I'm getting 4G+ for both Airtel and Jio in my Nokia 7 Plus and achieved speeds upto 110Mbps. Nokia doesn't shows 4G+ only fo Airtel but it shows for Jio and Vodafone Idea. In the below screenshot you can notice that though CA/4G+ is working NetMonster app is showing only LTE
Usually Bands available is the only thing which is hardware dependant as hardware needs to be supporting and certified for all the bands it is to be used. Once you have all the bands needed for CA available it is a software thing
That is not enough. Device manufacture have to configure device modem to support 4G+ with different combinations. Only way to know device supported 4G+ combinations are from modem logs.

Indian version? (TA-1121)
I have tried in city area also & as per the network operators both supports CA in our area.
4G+ is already available in India bro. Airtel 4G+ is available from 2016 & Jio also supported. Don't know know about Vodafone-idea.
I think it is available in almost all circles. Atleast I can confirm the availability in Kerala, Tamilnadu & Karnataka circles.

Just saw this article about 4G coverage in India. Article is from February 2019.
Maybe that's the reason why there is no 4G+?

3CA for LTE Downlink and 2CA for LTE Uplink. So, technically x15 modem is capable of 3CA I guess.
Network Cell info app is inaccurate as well. In device+SIM section, it says my device is not VoLTE capable (I'm using jio).
CA is not enabled in indian variant though.

Here have Nokia 8.1 (TA-1119) CAcombos: https://cacombos.com/device?model=TA-1119 . I don't have Indian version to test combos.
IS 4g+ working for anyone for indian model TA-1121? If yes was it activates with an upgrade?
Thanks
Can you send to me log file from your modem so i can parse it and then list supported 4G+ support to my cacombos.com page?
Then we can know if your device support 4G+ in your network. I have here instruction how you can get log file out: https://mt-tech.fi/en/how-to-get-4g-supported-ca-combinations-from-your-android-phone/#Nokia_Android_Devices
And then you can just send to: https://cacombos.com/contribute
I don't think it will get through update. Its basically hardware dependent. If It's 4G Modem not supported then it will not be activated through update.
