Nokia 1 suddenly incompatible with Google Messages app

Apparently, the problem with the Google Messages app isn't exclusive to Nokia phones. See

@bertt I had completely forgotten about that topic I created over on Google support. Very interesting that other phones have got same issue.

Something has gone seriously wrong if other phone manufacturers are getting this.

Same Problem on my S10+ and Nokia 7.2
The Following Google Apps are giving the Issue
1)Google Measure
2)Google Playservices for VR
3)Android Messages App

App Version :5.0.62

The issue is fixed for Nokia 8.1 as well. Got the update today.

Well done to Google who finally managed to fix this. Only took you 19 days as well. What would we do without your ongoing customer support who is always there for your paying customers. *End sarcasm* 😉
