Heating issue

Why Nokia 7.1 and 7.2 heats up a lot. If it is the software issue then you better deal with it.

Nokia 8.1 haven't shown any such issues. 

Both Nokia 8.1 and 7.1 mobile used in same condition. Nokia 7.1 temperature raises to 47+ degrees.

    What phone are you referring to 7.1 or 7.2 which one do you have?  Can you please post. A screen shot of the temperature.  Dont use your device while charging if you don't like it getting warm.  I have not seen the 7.1 get over 95 deg f or 30-35 C.

    Seems like 47 deg is ok range for the phone.  All phones get warm when charging rapidly when the battery is really low. Then they slow down the charging as the battery get full.

    Phone is not being used in charging mode. This happens when the internet is on while making a call through whatsapp or regular. 
    Even the screen gets heats up which worries a lot. Literally a fear which make us to drop the call and wait for it to cool down before the next use. 

    Our other Nokia mobile such as 5 and 8.1 never came across such issues as of now.

    I would suggest downloading gsam battery monitor and then you have graphs of the temp. To show to support , contact them when you have screenshots of temp over a day's use and document what the phone is doing

    Still 47 degree is too much. I think you should visit care center for once. It's really serious issue.

    My 7.1 peaks out at about 105deg F (41 C)  in a 68 deg room (20 C)  So if the area that the phone is charging or using the device heavy is that really too hot for actual conditions?  A graph of actual temp over time and the ambient temp of room would be nice to know in this situation.

    As mentioned by febin652 same is happening for me too.during whatsapp calls specially in it video calls. We need to hang up after 7-10 minutes due to extreme heat.

    Also during charging I came to know about message showing your phone temperature is too high please disconnect from charging at 70% of battery.
