I like my 7.2 but the lack of updates is starting to make me regret buying Nokia.

Nothing in Spain yet. I didnt even get the second patch of December... I guess I will have to wait...

Hmm, nothing for me yet (nor the December update that apparently came in later in the month) - for some reason it doesn't like finding any new updates. I guess I just have to keep doing the roundabout method - which is a pain in the neck.

Although I am beginning to wonder -because i originally restored my 7.2 from a 8.1 backup - I wonder if there is any discrepancy in place, where it still thinks its a 8.1 but in a 7.2 hardware therefore updates just fail to show up.

Nope, nor the bigger one in December or the one now in January. I have contacted the support staff and they didn't provide me any answer more than the updates depends on Nokia and the mobile operator in Spain...so I'm still waiting. Anybody in Spain with the same issue?

No update available in Aus until I disabled my Aus SIM and enabled my Thai sim, then Dec and Jan updates appeared.

Are these updates rolled out country by country or is Telstra just blocking it?

U can force the update doing the steps of I post in Nokia 7.2 forum.
