[Merged] Android 10 contact search is not working on my Nokia 6.1

Hi,

My phone is not giving search results for contact search. Only for a few contacts, search works. Remaining contacts are not getting displayed for "part of the name" search. Is anyone facing the same issue? I tried removing the Google Account and added again. Still there is no result.!!

    I have 6.1 I'm not experiencing that issue, it works fine with my unit. Maybe should restart you phone

    Hello people,

    I am also on the same boat. Not able to see or search for any contacts through the app. Tried restarting the phone several times along with re insertion of sim and also tried removing my google account ,then adding it back also.Nothing as of now is working . Nokia please find a solution to this annoying problem . It is really geting on my nerves.

    I am also not able to search for contacts properly after the update. This needs to be addressed asap.

    Remove contact, Use Goole contact

    Same problem for me, but if open contacts directly it allows me seach..

    From phone app it doesn't, crazy problem..

    Hope nokia releases hotfix asap to have this addressed

    This is really annoying as i am also facing the same issue. I am unable to search the contact with the middle or any part of the contact name.

    Whereas i can do by using True Caller app.

    Please look into it.

    I am also facing same problem and my existing call recorder also not working.

    can some one please suggest me which 'Call recorder' is working in Nokia 6.1 plus?

    Facing same issue after #Android 10 update. I just noticed, when we search through DIALLER, it's not working. But when I open the menu and open CONTACT, then I am able to search with middle or last name. So I just made the CONTACT shortcut key next to DIALLER for time being.😏

    Hi,

    I have so many issues

    1. Unable to search most of my contacts from saved contacts.
    2. I am unable to save contact through Cam Card App
    3. if i dialed a unsaved no. second of third time, my phone is not giving me any suggestions while dialing. all my previous phones don't have this problem.

    My phone also has the same issue (Some contacts that are available in the address book not seen in search results). Phone: Nokia 6.1 Plus, OS: Android 10. Awaiting a fix.

    Same issue with my nokia 6.1 too after update.. i can see all contacts in the. App.. but search won't return any results.. it only works for few contacts..

    Hi qa team of Nokia,

    You guys are missed it. For me also same issue after the update, search list not working properly. Please update with patch ASAP.

    After update android 10 in my nokia 7.1 in whichi when i find name in contact app. Its not properly search contact which contact all ready saved in address book. If i search name by middle name or last name then i do not got contact so after updated searching contact not find well . So please do regarding this kind issue.

    The same problem for me after forcing to close the contacts app the first search after opening is correct.

    After update....android10 I am able to search the contacts only by first name..they cant be searched by middle or last name..#NOKIA Plz help me out from this annoying....😥

    Same experience with my nokia 6.1+ after update to Android 10.

    I realised the search effectively happen only with the content mentioned under "company" row.

    Any solution from Nokia or Android to fix it with new patches !!?

    Badly need solution...... tired with contact searching...!!!

    I have to go to WhatsApp or truecaller... Some cases..

    Yes, same issue with my mobile Nokia 6.1 as well. From phone app, part of name search not working however from contacts app it works.
