The Nokia 8.1 is gradually being phased out. I do not think you will get any new manufacturing of this model. The Nokia 8.2 should be announced on 19th of March and you can wait for it.
The Nokia 8.1 has not been available (new) in the UK for 7 or 8 months.

The Nokia 8.1 doesnt use gorilla glass and who knows how much it is to replace, HMD certainly wont tell you.
