April MR + SP (Not officially out)
I have started testing the much awaited April MR.
I would like to thank @singhnsk for April update before hand.
Will update if I observe new changes. Update isn't official out yet so have patience.
- Audio bug in 3rd party apps fixed
- Gcam works fines
- Equalizer works on Spotify & Gaana
- I didn't have screen freezing after 10 update so I can't say anything about it.
- Gestures don't work with 3td party launcher (Google is to blame)

Oh boy! These are some really necessary fixes. Finally!
Now, I hope they release the update in April, we can't wait more 🙈
PS: The same update will be rolled out to all of SDM_660 series: Nokia 6.1 Plus, 6.1, 7.1,7 Plus

No , gestures work with stock launcher only

Are you sure Gcam Is working 100% like in Android 9? What about contact list bug in phone app? Thank you

You have to use adb codes to do it but it is quite buggy though

Yes , it works just like it used to on android 9

No. Google removed that ability in DP3 I think. Never made it to official release.
They only released an update to Pixel series I think, via PixelDrop in Feb.
OEM can choose to allow it using the code but You know Nokia is lazy and wouldn't do it 🤔

Guys I hope you read about DSU. Did you tried to install Android R ? Because with DSU you will not lose your Android 10 and it's data. 😅 I want to try but it need bootloader unlocked.

🥺Yes...
Very lazy HMD GLOBAL. They removed many things from Android 10. They removed Bubble Clock and many other clocks on lock screen. It's depends on OEM to use or not. And Face unlock. We are expecting they can't provide Face-unlock due to Android One. But Nokia 8.3 5G has Face unlock with Android 10. They just don't want to maintain old device. 😂They are thinking that they are apple of Android. (👻As you know they didn't want to unlock bootloader ). And like Apple they are also provide bugs with updates in Old phone. Probably in Future they will fined by EU.😂

They provide the update some of you or you get from your source.
Why they simply use Beta labs ?
HMD has that infrastructure. They are just lazy to use. Hm ?

DSU isn't enabled by HMD in our feature flags. I did flash Android 11 DP 2 on my 7 plus. Verryyyy Buggy GSI.
Wouldn't recommend flashing it.

They can't provide Android 10 as Google provide. Did you try that adb command to enable DSU ?
Because in developer mode it's not available in feature flags.

yes. I tried both ways. ADB doesn't return anything when that command is given.

Just to be sure are you saying the gcam ports for Android 9 will work on Android 10 ? If that happens it will be great. For example back.rider555 port for N7+ on Android 9 ??

Has the corner rounding issue been solved? Is the accent color scheme bug still present? And hey, what about bluetooth codec issues?
(These were the things that "bugged" me the most you see😁)

By corner rounding u mean the recent menu cards ?

I think he means the bottom display corners. They are not perfectly round as far as my knowledge
