Dear support,
I've a brand-new Nokia 7.2 and I'm very happy with it. However, even at the lowest level, the ringing volume is far too loud. I'd like to decrease it further, but that's not possible as the volume slider cannot be fine-tuned. Is there any chance to inform the developers about that? They could increase the ringing volume steps for the volume slider for sure. Would be great!
What do you think?
Thank you!

I have the same problem. And also the Nokia startup jingle is too loud.
Several months later this problem still persists. I just bought 7.2 last week and I find this a major problem. I am using the lowest possible notification volume, and it is startling. Considering to turn off notifications altogether, but that would make the idea of a notifications pretty much useless. Please make an option to fine-tune the notification/ringtone sound volume further down - otherwise I probably have to donate my phone to an elderly relative...
It should be possible to increase volume at (much) smaller steps: It's awfully steep increase for each (+10-15%?) step.
Increase the number of steps to at least 20.
I got Android 10 yesterday, but still no fix for this problem?!?
Hello, @Nokia7.2 do you hear us?
Nope and nope...
I'm also on Android 10, now. Sound is too high on the lowest level. It would be possible (theoretically): https://www.xda-developers.com/how-to-add-more-steps-to-your-volume-slider-root/amp/
@PatrickF
Yes, that's a good option but requires root...
Did that on my MI A1.
Seems like something changed afteral in Android 10!
I found this setting today in the settings of the phone app under "Calling accounts":
"Ascending volume for incoming calls". 😀
