Is new Zealand not getting the update because we are in lockdown with no one able to go to work? It has been about a week since the start of the roll out of Android 10
Use search, while on the Apps & Notification, tap on the search area at the top, then search for framework, you will see Google Services Framework, do the necessary, again search for Location, you will see Location Services for Work, when you tap on it to open, you will now see Google app instead, because it's part of the Google App. Then clear the app data and cache. Done. Goodluck
I hope you followed all the instructions and that you removed your SIM card/s from the phone? Mine worked at the first instance. Make sure that you used Indian server, i used this VPN from playstore "Free VPN Master_ Fast Hotspot Secure Unblock Proxy 2.1"
Mine worked using the method you provided in the UK model TA-1150, but to those who do install it, mine did not restart twice like the phone said but it did take around ten minutes to boot
You must use WiFi or alternatively use another phone's (mobile hotspot) to do it. It can ever work on mobile data, the moment you put SIM card in the phone, it will detective that you're not in India.

I really like this new approach to inform people which countries are still pending approval for the updates, it definitely helps people (who read it!) understand why they haven't got the update yet.
Glad to to hear you found a way to trigger the update. I've used a dead SIM from a previous contract in the past and it has worked well.
@Lordbeny and others - if you're getting frustrated waiting then try swapping SIMs with others in your house, even if they're on the same network, because you never know what might trigger the update.
Background info, the distribution of the updates is actually handled by Google and they often don't allow all phones which are compatible to get the update at the same time, they spread the release over a few weeks in order to reduce load on their servers... because they don't want to spend money.
It's easy to blame HMD, it's easy to blame the operators and regulators when you know about their role in this too, but remember that we also need to blame Google 😉

I so much love the new added features of the Android 10 for Nokia 4.2. They're really amazing.
Already in anticipation for Android 11.
Hi @HMDLaura,

Hi @HMDLaura
Thanks. I really appreciate your effort.
So I understand that Chile will continue pending with the release of the update?
@HMDLaura We need a community in Spanish for Latin America. Thank you.
Ojalá que llegue ya qué ese teléfono en chile no a recibido NINGUNA actualizacion vía OTA solo con vpn.
Got it in Austria yesterday. A1 network.
Hurry up man I want android 10 are you really making me wait tell the very end!!!!!!
Still nowt 😒
In the support chat, Nokia always excuses itself when the operators delay the updates. I don't believe them anymore.
That's because at this point it's the operator's job to approve the build after Nokia releases it. They can't force the operator.
still nothing (UK, Virgin).
update:
removed sim and it started downloading instantly.
Still nothing. Poland (Orange). My mom phone.
It was supposed to be till 26.04 and its 28.04.
Nokia isnt the fastest update provider, right now its the slowest one.
I have it since 2 months at my Samsung S9+ so stop lying about being the fastest..
