While Covid-19 is a big issue for every company around the world, we have to clear the fact that issues like crackling speaker has arised a lot before the pandemic scenario (at least 2-3 months before).
While Covid-19 is a big issue for every company around the world, we have to clear the fact that issues like crackling speaker has arised a lot before the pandemic scenario (at least 2-3 months before). I can perfectly understand the difficulties that we're all facing in this time but the fact that there was no hotfix for major bugs is not due to the virus.
but bro atleast they provide Stable software an who say other companies can't provide monthly updates .
Non android one smartphones already get April patch in april month with MR just for example realme,Moto,Redmi others...i can't specific every brand..but u can understand we spent 26k on this phone and we can expect atleast stable phone.
also they didn't improved camera app,no Night mode, and other camera features
and after android 10 update bug list is extend previous bugs are still available and New too Even after 5month of releasing android 10
NOKIA IS JUST PROVIDING NEW SOFTWARE FOR QUANTITY NOT FOR QUALITY 👍🙌
yup bro am totally agreed with u...this type of major bugs are already reported at time of A10 release but nokia and hmd Didn't do anything they just provide SP and now they are giving us excuses for MR 😠
So I just received the April update. But it doesn't have any Maintenance Release. It's just a Service Pack. Sad, because last SP literally had some issue and started giving me fast charging and phone heating headaches.
While I know that the MR is delayed to may, but this April Update is severely delayed too. Getting April Update in May is alright when compared to many manufacturers, but still. It's a delay by HMD's timeline standards
Why is the dark mode blueish grey and not blackish dark like pitch black. Can you just ask them to do it and also refer them to insert dark mode toggle in quick settings. As it is a stock feature and not a rider or add on. These are the basics Nokia should have done. Why do we need to tell them. Idk
For that, they need money as they need to start from scratch.. I hope Hugo's decision of minting money by releasing multiple models paid off, but the sales volumes speak otherwise.
Most likely reason for a random reboot would be a firmware and/or driver issue. Google has already made available the may patch to the pixel line, not sure if they have any similar issues though
This happens when you provide super fast updates with lots of bugs and the phones are nothing but a headache for the customers...they will get this response from customers for sure...
We never had a problem if they delay some security patches...just don't make phones buggy...
Just to maintain a "Top Spot" in providing faster updates isn't going to make them a better company...they do a superb job in giving faster security patches than other companies...but if the bugs remain like this...then surely people will stop buying your phones and wont recommend too...
I know Samsung and all are worse in providing updates to their mid range phones...but still they have a brand value established in the market already...and HMD had to build it from scratch...so HMD should have been more careful about the user experience...

wtf this is my first and last Nokia smartphone
Fckkoff hmd🖕
Camera app won't be updated as they broke up with FIH. The messed up with vendor image basically for android 10 bugs
What's the reason for the delay?
Random restarts
Ok thanks for the information.

good news . HMD / Nokia smartphone sales are falling rapidly and approaching the level when they just started selling Android phones.
Karma at its best. And they deserve it after launching phones teeming with numerous hardware and software bugs.
Sad, but true...
They should shift from android one to something close to oxygen os for becoming successful again
Giving the chance to open the bootloader would satisfy many users, too.
They should have done that when Nokia 7+ was launched as developers are interested in new phones
Now testing the delayed May MR (thanks @singhnsk )
Will update soon

They have a Chinese rom which is close to stock android and has many features like other skins eg miui , colour is etc
AOSP source code updated or not ?
(Yes or No is enough... I don't want to need build number )
At present QKQ1.190828.002
Thanks 🙂
Its the same :(
🤣🤣🤣 Congratulations... They will never able to solve random restarts because it's problem of AOSP source code.
Thanks 🙂

Ik , but April MR had it more frequently 😂😂
They will postpone May MR to June if needed 😮 Or they will release with random reboots fixing in the next six months.....
Actually sound bug was due to aosp & Qualcomm. Nokia didn't update it to save efforts 😂😂

Honestly, I feel like there should be a class action lawsuit against Nokia/HMD, like consumers were able to do in US and Europe against LG and Google.
Companies should not be allowed to take consumers for granted.
Whan an joke of company this nokia has become...This is ao funny piece of crap
