no the ambient display feature ia removed from Android 10
It works on my 6.2. If you have search bar on your main screen, tap on the G, it will take you to Google main screen. Now in the left bottom corner tap More, then Settings, Google Assistant. Once you're there go to Assistant tab, scroll down and there you should see Phone. Tap it and scroll down to Ambient Mode, toggle it on. Just remember Ambient Mode works only when you charge your phone :)
Who told you that?
After update android 10 facing flashlight issues can anyone tell me how could I turn on flashlight? I am tapping again n again but it's not working ..help me please
I don't know what you are referring to as ambient display but this feature is officially removed in Android 10 and the current feature is while getting a new notification the lockscreen pops up in a customised way. I think you have misunderstood the lockscreen pop up with ambient display. Else I don't know what you are referring as ambient display.
restart you device. it should be in your drop down menu bar else add it.. if the in built feature doesn't work then install any third party app and then try. If it doesn't work then also then contact support.
I think I misunderstand Ambient display for Ambient Mode (when you charge phone and the screen gets greyish with some extended control options). I actually didn't know there was Ambient display working on 6.2 on Android 9
