Why nokia is not maintaining the stock of smartphones in india?. The webpage shows almost 70% mobiles are out of stock. The page can be improved with certain features notify me when available next time, like giving options like notify even if similar feature phone is released or introduced.

Hi @dipankar paul, looks like @Natz found a nice area to improve on the web shop. There has to be a notify section where the user can input email/phone to be notified when the selected product is back in stock.

And yeah if he chooses to, subscribe him to the newsletter about future launches.

And lastly, I miss a regular newsletter from the Nokia's shop. For example the 4-port charger was never advertised or sent via a newsletter. The subscribed users should be sent notifications about price cuts, offers and other kinds of bundles which may be available.

The store in Russia does it on a more regular basis.

@dipankar paul Thank you very much. Could you please ask them to update about discontinued products also, if anything like that. So that someone will have clear idea, whether to wait or go for something else.

    Thanks again

  • Not 70% actually 80-85% phones are not available on Nokia India site. Due to covid19 may be Nokia can't able to produce/manufacture phones. Also main problem since sept 2019 Nokia haven't launched phones in market. (8.3,5.3,5310 are just theoretically launched ). In other hands they can't manufacture old models as no one would buy them becoz of specifications. Nokia's fault is they can't do work on time or speed up. You can see all other brands launched their phones in pandemic situation and within weeks all of launched phones are fully sold within minutes. Nokia should learn this from competitors.

Give them the time. It is not easy to push a new company to the scale and satisfaction levels of the original Nokia. I only hope that things keep improving and move uphill.

Why Nokia phones not available, yes we can understand Covid situation but competers selling their products in full speed. This is second time getting disappointed from Nokia. Don't know about strategy , people are ready to buy Nokia phones but company don't have any interest. Is Nokia is on same way which was adopted by Sony, Kodak brands no update according market req. Just trying to live in own space. Let the people know shall they wait or go with other brands.

  • Totally Dissapointed with Nokia's strategy. In India people are ready to buy Nokia Phones but Nokia doesn't take Indian market seriously. Don't forget that India is the 2nd largest smart phone selling country

  • in India there are so many Nokia fans so why are you discontinued your mobiles like 8.1. if Nokia will not show there interest in indian market so may be Nokia loss there TRUST FROM INDIA.

Well, pandemic is long gone and the problem still exists. Previously, it was possible to purchase Nokia devices offline, but today, stores like Croma and others are completely ignoring this brand.

It has been more than 5 months since the launch of X30 and it has not been launched in India yet. Even products such as G60, that has been launched in India, is out of stock, 99% of time. On top of that, in markets like USA, phones with competely different names are launched leading to utter confusion.

I understand that it's challenging for a new company to ramp up to such demand, but the clock is ticking, and this time, it may be final curtains.

Still I hope that you fight back. All the best..
