[Update 26/05/20] Android 10 on Nokia 3.1 Plus

How can you be this ignorant... No Android 11 because we already got 9 and 10, that's two versions and that's it. Also no update was released so there's nothing to install in the first place, the phones are not bricked. Stop posting nonsense here already.

I think they get to fix their stuff eventually, the question is when... Early September would be absolutely the last posible deadline I guess... Hoping for next week xD

😂😂 That's not official mighty man. And Mobile got released on Oreo. Even if they did an extra update like they did for nokia 1 go device... it's fine. but first let them solve android 10 first since only April and May updates are released. If at all android 11 gets released this year then yeah...device will get update maybe next year March or may which would eventually be beyond their offer of "2 years of OS updates".

But I don't think android 11 would be released anywhere now. And I don't even think that we're going to update our device for new OS unless someone does and posts the consequences here next time.😂😂😂

It says 2 years of os upgrades not 2 os upgrades so if android 11 comes out before October Nokia will release it for our phones currently android 11 is scheduled to come out September 8th 2020 so it should come to our phones

Security patch and MR update🥺🥺🙄🙄🙄@HMDLaura

Well I have the may security patch and expecting a July or August or September security patch update.

I normally buy a mobile phone every 5-7 years. So I don't think I need to loose hope anyway since I bought it exactly an year back . I'll try waiting until next year February. If they don't send an update, I'll degrade my device to pie.

Anyone can post anywhere so long as they have the user access permission. It has to be this way, otherwise how could any prospective customer come and ask questions about a phone they're interested in buying.

And @singhnsk is not spreading fake information. The "2 years of Android updates" which you read is marketing-speak, intentionally vague. The intention is to give people hope that they will actually get three OS version updates, but in reality HMD will only give two - this is all they have done so far, and all they will ever do under the Android One branding (unless Google's requirements for that brand change).

I see that some people think the Nokia 1 got an extra OS update; it didn't, it started on 8 and will finish on 10. However it was a surprise, because HMD have been vague about how many years of support the Go devices will get.

I can't believe this is still going on, how hugely disappointing. This is where HMD should show some humility and acknowledge publicly that they've made some mistakes and how they will fix them.

And to everyone that keeps pinging HMDLaura - there's really no need. She's heard you, she's passed on the message to the right people and there's nothing more she can do. The best thing you can do is make a absolute riot scene on social media, e.g. start posting videos, screenshots, anything which shows the phone not working, not showing notifications, and shows that efuse blown success message. Try and find some suitable hashtags too to get some more attention.

And anyone that hasn't reported these issues to support yet please do, because otherwise HMD may not believe that this is a widespread problem.
