How to do this? I know its a feature of the phone but it is annoying me sometimes.

I did this, still notification light blinking. There are no app showing any notification. I want this light to book only when there is a notification and not all the time.
There has to be an app triggering the notification light, check your apps one by one.
i noticed this... blinks without any notification. Its a bug just restart the phone it sorts it out.
It's a silent notification, it does not trigger without a notification.

Today all of a sudden the notification light start blinking without notification. Don't know why.
It was probably a silent notification. Activate the notification log and watch what is triggered.
Go to widgets pick settings shortcut and drag it to location on the screen then select notification log
Sorry for hijacking this thread, but for some reason I'm unable to start my own.
Is there a way to turn on the notification light only for a specific app? I tried disabling the main toggle under Settings / Apps & Notifications and then going to Notifications / Specific App / Advanced and turning it on, but when I go back to the main menu, the toggle is on again, which enables it for all apps.
I want to turn on the notification light only for apps that are important to me.
