[19/10/20 Update]
Wave 2 rollout for Nokia 3.1 Android 10 update has started! All Markets that have approved the Android 10 release that weren’t in Wave 1 will now start to receive the update
Please note that we can only release the update to markets that have approved the build.
Wave 2 markets pending approvals:
- Chile
- Colombia, Claro
- Israel
- New Zealand
- Switzerland
As soon as approvals are received, we’ll release to you and update the above pending approvals list.

Hi Nokia 3.1 Users,
Great news for you, we have started to roll out Android 10 for you.
To provide a smooth rollout, we dispatch the Update in Waves.
Wave 1 includes:
Armenia
Azerbaijan
Bangladesh
Belarus
Georgia
India
Kazakhstan
Laos
Malaysia
Mongolia
Morocco
Nepal
Philippines
Singapore
Sri Lanka
Thailand
Tunisia
Ukraine
Uzbekistan
Vietnam
10% of all these approved markets will receive the Update today. 50% by Oct 10th and on Oct 12th, 100% of these approved markets will have received Android 10.

@victor eduardo martinez soto Si no quieres esperar a que la actualización se despliegue en tu país, puedes forzar la actualización utilizando una VPN
1- retirar tarjeta SIM
2-apagar equipo
3-encienda, descargue Tunnelbear VPN y configúrelo en una localización de India y cuando haya terminado, apague el WiFi y el GPS de localización.
4- borre los datos y el caché de estas aplicaciones exactamente en este orden.
a: aplicación de Google
b: Marco de Google
c: servicios de Google Play
d: Servicios de ubicación
5- apagar equipo
6-encienda y habilite WiFi y tunnelbear VPN.
7: busque actualizaciones y luego instale OTA
Utilizando estos pasos descargué la actualización en mi Nokia 3.1, yo soy de Perú.

You'll be notified by the phone when an update is ready for your region. As seen before, LATM is usually slow in getting the updates, probably due to operator interference in certification process.

The performance has actually depreciated, getting crazy discharge percentage jumps. I hope it can be fixed with a software patch.

@Martin Njuguna Did you factory reset your equipment after updating? It is always recommended after updating the Android, factory reset the device, because there may be some errors from the previous system.

I'd like to share my impressions after having installed Android 10 on 3.1. The device works slower at doing almost everything, plus drains battery a lot. Then, if you enable video recorder (using ADB), it doesn't work anyway, showing an error message after stopping the recording (instead it works on other Android stock devices). It's obviously not optimized for 3.1, but just seems a generic version and , of course I factory resetted my device after having installed it. I hope it's gonna get fixed soon, but since Android 11 is rolling out for some devices, honestly I seriously doubt it. Positive note: dark theme works good.
