[Merged] Nokia 6.1 Plus Android 11 update

Yes Nokia have promised two Major update and three security update but hmd have to think Nokia 6.1 Plus have developed very nice device and good chip set and they provide one more updates they all users will really happy.

Roadmap announced..... Nokia 6.1 plus is not getting android. 11.Till September monthly then quarterly updates will be available.Nexy update in December directly. They shall be minor updates of small size.life cycle of mobile has ended. They have removed it from website.I had requested all suggestions n grievances to hmd but no reply was received. Problem with charging drainage of power microphone issue n speaker issue still pending.

Nokia 6.2 uses same chipset. So look for XDA developers site, they will sure port the official 6.2 rom to 6.1 plus and there will be minor bugs which is still present with Nokia software.

Otherwise no option for us to get Android 11. They are still trying to fix problems with this Android 10 Rom.

I strongly recommend to go with Moto smartphones if you want stock experience. They surely provide good software, camera and most importantly Dolby Atmos which i think take 3 months Nokia to fix a simple audio bug in the stock EQ

How to unlock bootloader?

Hello sir I am Krishnendu Mandal. I have been using Nokia Mobile since 2013, first Nokia Java Phone, then Symbin and then Windows Phone because I love Nokia. And now I have used two Android as much as I can afford. 6 and 8 plus. I know there have been two updates to the 8 Plus. However, we, the Nokia fans, are demanding that Android 11 be given to our phone. This is our big wish. Don't disappoint us coming. Thanks. #nokia #nokiaindia #nokiaandroid

I bought Nokia 6.1 plus on dt. 14.10.2019. Now since one month it is showing loose charging port issues.

Is my smartphone is eligible for 6-months extended warranty for charging port? Or i have to pay at authorised service centre to fix the issue?

Yesterday i visited service centre which is nearly 30 km away from my home and they told me that there is no such warrenty now available with this model and charged me Rs1350 for the charging port repair.

Before going service centre, i called at Nokia helpline number and they told the warranty is not void and the repair will be done free of cost after physical and water damage inspection. But the decision made by service centre will be final (no matter how they charge or for what component, have to pay to get repaired) and the customer care service has nothing to do with them.

Today, after getting phone repaired and paying Rs.1350, I called again to clarify if there was any warrenty or not , and the care service told the same thing, i have 6 months extended warranty for charging port repair but the decision made by service centre is final.

I am fed up with this two different answers from the same company Nokia. Then i mailed for the same to the nokia official e-mail given in the website to register a complaint against the service centre and getting my money back but they haven't replied even after nearly 24hrs.

I have the bill of service centre with me, i have the screenshot of chats with helpline executive...any proof the company wanted.

The Nokia authorised service centre is in - Ashok Nagar, Janpath, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

Stop wasting your time here guys..i also did the same..but it doesn't make any sense. Finally i used paid method to unlock bootloader (rs450) and install pixel experience rom and custom kernel which have all the required drivers to run Gcam. And its all working like a charm. Developer is also good. Guys he will do it all for you..you just need pc or laptop and there you go..just follow his instructions..whole process is around 15-20mins.if you are interested guys pls let me know..i will drop his info here. And also im looking forward to android 12 too 🤗✌️
