-Battery drain issue will happen, because, this is a 3 year old device, its battery will degrade upon use...... and as for the heating issue, you need to "optimize" your device by changing app permissions, restricting apps from using battery in the background, removing power hungry apps except core google and system apps using adb...........(basically, what I mean is to tinker in the settings and after that use adb to remove apps that do not have the disable option)

Only readable,not writable files.

Don't factory reset this phone more than a few times, because it's flash memory speed degrades about 1-2% after factory resetting, it might not apply to everyone, but, I have this phone since 2018, that's why I might be noticing this issue.......

Go to settings>Storage space, then tap on sd card, it will open up the system files app (not the Google one), then tap the 3 dots , then tap on storage settings and you will see 2 options tap on first option (Format), then a popup will appear then tap Format SD card, then it will Format the sd card, when it says that format is finished, tap done, that's all! Now your SD card is formatted.....
