Good luck with that. In the meantime my Redmi 9C is flying with zero frustrations and is an absolute joy to use. At least my Nokia 1 taught me to leave HMD and their useless software updates without costing me a fortune in money. Time wasted with their software updates though cost me more in terms of productivity. Never again will I be another guinea pig.
Battle on loyal HMD and Nokia fans. You deserve better than what HMD is feeding you.
Well, I too had it with this software but after unlocking the bootloader and flashing the patched boot image, the phone doesn't boot, it will boot if we flash the original image form fastboot... I have opened an issue on the official Magisk GitHub and provided almost all the information and am ready to provide more if possible...

I have installed the latest update 00WW_3_110_SP02 released on 1/1/2021 and using an old 16GB Sandisk SDcard the phone is working fine. It hasn't forgot the contents of the SDcard so far and has been happily streaming podcasts off the SDcard using VLC player.
The sd card issue usually occurs when you install MR updates with the sd card, just remove the sd card from the device before updating to prevent any issues...

And I did switch devices recently but didn't want this to lie around doing nothing, so, I just use it for mostly YouTube...
Remove the SD card from the phone. Factory reset phone. Do NOT insert SD card. Use WITHOUT SD card.
No more problems with the Nokia 1. Try it and thank me later.

I just powered up my Nokia 1 tonight after leaving it in standby for a week. Now it won't charge above 80%..
There is just no end to the crap. 6hours and it's only at 80%.
I wanted to take it into town tomorrow cause it's nice and small and can fit in a shirt pocket. Not so easy to steal.
And....now it won't charge properly...
I've given up.
Going to smash it to bits tonight. I've had enough of this.
Remove the battery and put it back in, it might help
1. Remove and then reinsert the battery
2. Do a factory reset
