My Nokia 8.1 is not charging fast after upgrading to A11. Some other features are also missing i.e. styles and customisations not there in Google wallpapers app. Otherwise everything is working good.

It's not in hand of HMD Global. Only Google.

I think it's HMD, because on my Pixel 5 with Android 11 and April security patch, it's still customisable.

I don't know how some peoples are having issue with the update but so far I haven't face a single issue with the update. Everything runs smooth and fluid and everything working normally as it should be.
There are some bugs like when you tap and hold home screen to change the wallpaper and when you select picture from your gallery it just lags and force stops. Solution - go to Gphotos and set wallpaper from there.
On the lockscreen there is no seek bar for any media player as it was on A10. Again idk if it's meant to work that way in A11 or maybe it's Bug.
Call recording with default Gdialar still doesn't work for me. Ik it's not known issue with everyone but still issue for some users.
No issues with Gphotos or camera not recognising device storage etc. All working fine.
Don't have Netflix subscription now soo can't check with that but I suggest try clearing app cache and data once and login again and check or maybe it's same issue as it was with A10 update.
And Charging works fine as it should be.
I'll update this comment if I find any issues.

All those customization features are specific to pixel phones.

Wrong! In the developer options of my 8.1, you can set the accent colour, font and symbol shape. My Pixel has more settings, but the missing items mentioned should also be available on the 8.1 under Android 11.

If anyone has enabled the private DNS option, do you receive any notification whenever you turn off your WiFi/mobile data? I don't understand why this is happening. Every time I turn off my WiFi I receive a notification saying that private DNS cannot be accessed when WiFi is turned off.

Bubble feature is not working on whatsapp and facebook messenger also. Facebook Messenger is only working on when the notification preview on.any one faced?do let me know.

After android 11 update, maximum Playback resolution on Netflix is no longer Full HD, now it's only SD.

You get to see those devices in device control which you have added any device which is designed for seamless setup with Google Home App. First, It needs to add the device to Google Home Application. I have added Android TV.

But you should seriously consider factory reset option before updating to Android 11 , it is much smoother transition than before , less buggy , and screen freezing has dropped , although not stopped untill I check with all the apps I installed before reset.
Consider factory reset (keep backup first) and then update.

Hey Dipankar,
After upgrading Android 11, I'm observing issue with back button. Sometimes it is not working and sometimes the same screen appears again and again few times.
Scenarios:
1. in Files Google app, on permission screen it is not working and also, user is unable to tap on allow button.
2. In WhatsApp the same screen appears again and again on tapping back button instead of get exit from the app.
Please look into this and provide a fix for this issue.

What is this , after updating android 11 to my nokia 8.1 , it's usb tethering isn't connecting to my pc while wifi is on

Ahh, a little bit not concerning issue might be with back swipe gesture,
While playing video in prime video , the back swipe just doesn't works ,
While I think @HMDLaura , there might be a issue with back swipe gesture support not working perfectly fine with other 3rd party launchers ,which of I have installed and been using one.

Please fix Wifi, Mobile signal restarting bug introduced in Android 11 update.
A phone has to be able to make/ receive phone calls.
That's the least we could ask for from Nokia.

Battery backup has decreased a lot after A11 update. In A10 a full charge would end my day with 30 to 40 percent easily. After A11 update I'm charging my device twice a day. Does anyone facing issues with battery?

Pathetic that theres still no official response regarding wifi mobile signal restarting bug.
This bug prevents to accept or make phone calls.
May be its too much to expect from Nokia.
