Issue with proximity sensor in Nokia 5.3

I had sent my 5.3 to Nokia service and they replaced display which resolved proximity sensor AND burn issues. Attaching service analysis of the phone so you can see which parts are faulty.

whenever I attend call from someone / call someone.. display becomes blank 😒

Based on latest comment this can be fixed in service center ? Any Service Center near T.Nagar or Tambaram Chennai ?

Can this be done within few hour ? Or need to drop and pickup ?

So was it done free of cost or you had to pay something?

This annoying bug never got fixed even after so many months of complaints from users. This is what HMD is now, they don't have the passion and direction which they had when they started off.

This company has become useless now.

We don't want temporary solutions. If HMD cannot provide a fix even after two months of reporting, it's better they close the shop 😀

Very much irritating and annoying bug not only during calls but even while listening to the audio messages in Whatsapp.

Looks like HMD is not bothered to release a fix soon even after so many months of complaints by users.

I thought it's software related since for me, this issue started only a couple of months back.

Ok then, let me visit the Nokia care center and see what can be done to fix this.

My Phone is repaired back from Nokia service. They replaced many parts in the phone.

But now, a couple of weeks later i have the same issue again! The screen turns black when i place a call.

I think its a software problem.

And its my last Nokia-Phone.
