I don't know why there are not many Android e-Readers out there. Maybe they don't have much demand in market. But I find it very useful.

This is the idea:
a 6" or 7" e-ink display with a warm, adjustable backlight. easy on eyes. A decent processor (like mtk g25) 3gb ram 16/32gb storage. Pure android with limited features, all animations turned off by default. Syncs with your Nokia phone.
'All week' battery life.

And most importantly the chin cheeks are always a thick and thin in Nokia devices .
Just kidding
The design is more suttle and it is the feature for an e reader.
Also, easy to hold it while reading. 😉
A nice idea but it will be a niche product directly competing with Kindle in India. As the processor won't be doing much they can use an even more basic processor and disabling the animations is the best thing to do on an e-ink display. The cheapest Kindle costs 8000INR and an Android-powered Nokia e-Book with more functionality will cost more. All the pointers you mentioned make it look attractive. Maybe use Android Go and reduce all the specs you mentioned by half. Bring the cost close to Kindle and sell. Also, make it a 4:3 and not 16:9.
We are just daydreaming boi. 🤣
😂😂
E-ink display 6'' or 7'' is too small, 8'' or more
