NEW BUG?

It's a common thing that you will encounter bugs on Nokia devices and today I encountered one too again.

How?

Was simply checking the system update but instead of tapping on checking for updates I tapped on multiple user and then by mistake tapped on guest mode (No worries till now )

guest mode started few automatic download started (google voice and keyboard) not sure why and then went to admin mode, when I went to system update to check for updates this happened (see picture)

POINT TO NOTE-

First - dark theme is on but here its white when I go back its black again

second - it used to show 1 April 2021 (last update)

It's the bug in the Google play services update. Pixel devices are facing it too.. In short, will be fixed soon by Google as it is not related to Nokia in any way

Yeah I tried something i.e changing the device theme and it somewhat worked.

when it's in WHITE it showing everything but as soon as I change it to BLACK (as you know I was using black theme when this happened) it goes away.

PLUS I noticed one thing too

if you are in update section and use your phone in landscape mode there is a transition( you can see phone background on the bottom in a thick horizontal line) bug too.

No! My Pixel 5 does not show this behavior!

Everything is up to date and no newer updates are found.

Had the same problem in Nokia 8.3. Got the beta update version 21.26.16 to Google Play Services this morning and it fixed it.

The bug is in Play Services and every device that uses Play Services for OS upgrades and has been updated to the buggy version of Play Services will face this issue irrespective of the brand label.

Like I told last friday I got it fixed with beta Play Services back then already. In my Nokia 8.3 5G

Here you can download manually latest components updates a.k.a Play System Updates for devices with A10+, you must enable APK install as it is off by default. It's the fastest way to update.
