Video editing lag

I own a Nokia 6.1 plus and I am having trouble with editing the videos I record. It's taking a long time for the photos app to finish editing and after it does finish, the entire phone keeps getting stuck until I delete the video. help me with this issue .

    You can use Third party software like Alight Motion, Cap cut, and Picsart.
